DES MOINES, Iowa (AP) - Lottery officials have announced the numbers drawn for Wednesday night's record $1.5 billion Powerball jackpot.
The California Lottery did announce there is Powerball jackpot winner in Chino Hills, California. There could be other winners in other states.
Also, in Chula Vista a ticket was sold that matched 5 out of the 6 numbers.

Erik Braggadacio pic is a hoax. Look at the multiple letters on the left side. On a real ticket each line is a pick. It’s a $10 ticket not a $2 one. He obviously photoshopped the winning number from the other lines and blotted them out, although he did a decent job of it. I’m glad because he seems pretty obnoxious and would get old fast on the talk show circuit lol.

Your ticket will print out the numbers in value/sequence/hierarchy... as in lowest numbers to highest numbers. I just checked mine (3 sequences) before posting.

I had just the Powerball, but I paid $1.00 extra for the “Power Play,” which was 2 times for this particular drawing, so I guess I won $8.00.
The Maine Lottery Commission web site is very slow.....I think it crashed.
Did you hear about the sad sacks in the UK? Apparently their lottery allows you to purchase tickets via an app using money you load on monthly basis from your credit card. Some pensioner couple played the same numbers regularly and finally turned up a winner for something like $50M...but their account was low on cash and didn’t automatically replenish until the next day to pay for the ticket in full. The bean counters wouldn’t give it to them.
