We have several black families in our neighborhood, but they have professionals as the head of the household. It’s not the skin color, it’s the value system.
Article is a total and complete waste of time and very untrue. The Brits don’t seem to have enough to worry about that they have to stick their uppity noses where they don’t belong.
I happen to live in a very upscale neighborhood of approximately 2700 homes on several golf courses, several pools and community centers and there is every different race one can imagine here and all share the same community pools, clubs, golf courses etc. We all share in bar B ques, movies in the park, our children go to school together and play together as a community should. We are there for each other in sadness as well as gladness, kind, caring, and loving people sharing and living together.
O Crap head is a fool and has tried to split up the races and he has gotten it all wrong. Take your British BS and stick it to where the sun don’t shine and don’t believe everything you read or see on the telly and especially do not think for one moment the the Pres O Bozo has got it right either!
I guess in Britain observation is not the norm? Many Americans of all kinds of persuasions live together, go to school together, shop in the same places, go to movies in the same places. Also as human nature dictates, many people also congregate in like groups, that’s why we have had places like Chinatown, Little Italy, Germantown, near me Little Saigon, am I to believe that in England and other countries this self segregation does not exist? I doubt that very much.
Becuase whites tend to like neighborhoods with lower crime rates.
Call me racist, I don’t care. Name me one majority black neighborhood that does not have a high crime rate.

People like to be around people like themselves.

Just look at black churches. Blacks can go to ANY church, there is not a church in the US that wouldn’t welcome a nice black family into their congregation. But blacks CHOOSE to go to all black churches.
The same is true with neighborhoods.
Whites DO move into black areas!
But when they do blacks get MAD and call it “gentrification”

Look at any demographic map. Hispanics and Asians clump together, too. Asians tend to cluster around universities. Blacks and Hispanics are usually found in urban areas. Whites dominate rural areas.

The usual British hypocrisy when it comes to criticizing the US.The UK has a large black caribbean minority, islamic minorities. To a larger extent than in the US one will not find anglo brits integrating with those minorities. Pretty much like that in all western european countries.
Total crap. Blacks and Muslims have their own neighborhoods in most European cities.
its really funny because in general, blacks, whites, Asians, latinos all get along.....but throw in the gang culture violence and no amount of being nice is going to cover that.....

In UK, Asians, Africans and whites also segregate. Why they are surprised?
For the same reason that every season of survivor features some woman trying to form a “girl alliance” to vote the men off. Some humans are weak and envious of the smart and talented. Their envy makes the act evil.

Yet, we were warned off stopping by a black gentleman who was a volunteer patrolman. He cautioned us from looking at our map as we pulled over. He directed us to Devon, a main throughway. I heard we could have been jolly well mugged on Jackson Blvd. I said to him "you are an ambassador". He said, "once a fireman, always a fireman".
Common sense tells me that you go where you are comfortable. You live where you have good neighbours. You also feel more at ease if the majority of residents are of the same background as yourself. I like to see the author of that article prove his own likes and dislikes.
Whoever wrote this article has never visited the Southern US.
