BUSTED ! – Republican State of Union Response Carried Amnesty Pledge in Spanish Version…
Consevative Treehouse ^ | 1/13/16 | Sundance

A Tale of Two Shiftys'

There is a bigger controversy about to break wide-open that's potentially far more significant than Paul Ryan and Mitch McConnell approving Nikki Haley's non-subtle attack on GOP frontrunner Donald Trump. That bigger controversy is the Spanish version of the GOP State of the Union rebuttal containing an "amnesty pledge".

As this is written, Governor Nikki Haley is trying to get out ahead of the building expose'. Haley just gave a DC press conference claiming she does not support "amnesty"; however, against her earlier admission of Speaker Ryan and Leader McConnell approving the script - the Spanish version must have held similar approvals.

Governor Haley gave the English version, Miami Representative and party-insider Mario Diaz-Barlat delivered it in Spanish. Here's a (paragraph by paragraph) comparison as translated by the Miami Herald:

English (Via Haley): No one who is willing to work hard, abide by our laws, and love our traditions should ever feel unwelcome in this country.

Spanish (Via Diaz-Barlat): No one who is willing to work hard, abide by our laws, and love the United States should ever feel unwelcome in this country. It's not who we are.

English: At the same time, that does not mean we just flat out open our borders. We can't do that. We cannot continue to allow immigrants to come here illegally. And in this age of terrorism, we must not let in refugees whose intentions cannot be determined.

Spanish: At the same time, it's obvious that our immigration system needs to be reformed. The current system puts our national security at risk and is an obstacle for our economy.

English: We must fix our broken immigration system. That means stopping illegal immigration. And it means welcoming properly vetted legal immigrants, regardless of their race or religion. Just like we have for centuries.

Spanish: It's essential that we find a legislative solution to protect our nation, defend our borders, offer a permanent and human solution to those who live in the shadows, respect the rule of law, modernize the visa system and push the economy forward.

English: I have no doubt that if we act with proper focus, we can protect our borders, our sovereignty and our citizens, all while remaining true to America's noblest legacies.

Spanish: I have no doubt that if we work together, we can achieve this and continue to be faithful to the noblest legacies of the United States.

“Yes, anything short of deportation is de facto amnesty.”

Explain how you’re going to do it? Explain how you will deal with the images of crying women and screaming babies as they are being deported? What are you going to do if Mexico won’t take them back?

It would sure be nice to have a party that pandered to American taxpayers. I’m so sick of all these traitorous bastards.

I like Ted Cruz. But if he wins, quite sadly, he owes the following people for funding his campaign.

I do not believe that Cruz would buckle to the GOPe; but Rubio sure would. I didn't make the meme, just posted it.

Study the campagin monies

Study the Super Pacs

I made this meme though.

Your "noob" comment, was rude.

I’ve never seen Trump propose an immigration plan as broad and generous as you state. Trump has said he wants to allow the “good ones” and “a few of them” back into the U.S. legally. So, what does this mean? If you look at what he’s said in the past (in particular, in his book Time to Get Tough and his position paper on his website—which was written before he started talking about a “deportation force”), he makes it clear that his first priority will be allowing in immigrants that will be an overall economic benefit to our country. He does not seem to see unskilled, low-wage workers as providing much of an overall economic benefit. As his website says, “We need to control the admission of new low-earning workers in order to: help wages grow, get teenagers back to work, aid minorities’ rise into the middle class, help schools and communities falling behind, and to ensure our immigrant members of the national family become part of the American dream.” Another aspect of his position is finding immigrants who will not need welfare: “Applicants for entry to the United States should be required to certify that they can pay for their own housing, healthcare and other needs before coming to the U.S.”

In his book Time to Get Tough, he wrote that he thinks immigrants need to “bring skills, prosperity, and intellectual capital.” He wants to give preference to people with college degrees and skilled work experience (specifically in desired fields that need workers). In that book, he wrote more about the welfare issue: “America doesn’t need freeloaders who come here to live off our welfare system.” Of course, he’s always said he wants to remove criminal illegals permanently and immediately.

In his newest book, Crippled America, he talks of using the immigration system to “reward achievement and excellence.” He says, “Our current immigration laws are upside down—they make it tough on the people we need to have here, and easy for the people we don’t want here.” He then talks about how we should be bringing in “the smartest, hardest-working people born in other countries.” He also made it clear that he believed the first step was to enforce the current immigration laws (which, of course, include deporation), and then to start implementing more (eVerify, tripling the border patrol agents, and foremost the wall).

With these sort of requirements—no criminal record, no need for any form of welfare from the government, skilled work experience and/or a college education (and not to mention, the process of legally immigrating costs real money), how many of the illegals really will be able to come back in? And yet, some people on FR who despise Trump (I’m not talking about you) act as if he wants to let all of them back in...

The crux of the matter in regards to illegal immigration is not one of deportation but rather the simple fact that the United States has incentivized and enabled illegal immigration into this country for decades. If the U.S. were to simply remove the incentives to illegally immigrate the problem would take care of itself overnight. In short illegal aliens managed to get themselves here I’m sure they can figure out how to get home if properly motivated.

“If the U.S. were to simply remove the incentives to illegally immigrate the problem would take care of itself overnight.”

Certainly true. There are ways to solve the illegal problem. Deportation isn’t one of them. The media would kill you with footage of the inhumanity of the mean, evil, republicans loading women and children onto buses. You will never win that battle.

You can’t say BUSTED because it wasn’t a secret. Diaz-Balart was speaking Spanish, not Klingon. They knew it would translated.

So many things in that speech were insulting to Tea Party Conservatives...

After Trump or Cruz is elected we need to leave the GOP...we’re not welcome in that party.

I certainly don't despise the man. But I can't say I trust him either. Part of that mistrust is just a gut feeling and it's not new. I could never get through an episode of The Apprentice. Just couldn't stomach the man. And it's not an aversion to the New York persona. I lived and worked near New York for several years and have always enjoyed the city, and actually liked the people there. I generally get on very well with New Yorkers. Trump has always struck me as bombastic and a bit phony, like he's a rich guy's son trying too hard to be a mensch. But a real mensch has a sense of humor about himself and at least some humility. I find it hard to trust anyone lacking in either much less both.

The only possible explanation is the gop, democrats, UN and all the other nations have taken the “one world government” pledge. Therefore the US can NOT have defined borders. It’s pure evil IMO.

They are globalists, now. They care about making America into “the world” and subjugating America and Americans to the UN and multinational corporations. It’s treason. Treason is ugly.

There was a story on Breitbart last night about Ryan and Luis Gutierrez being best buds now....showed a picture of them at dinner at the Chicago Club. Also implicated Gowdy in this plot on immigration.

Gutierrez is a communist subversive and I have called him out on this several times in the past. Piece of slime is constantly fomenting unrest with the illegals. To see Ryan sitting there with him and laughing it up, as well as bringing Gowdy into this immigration mess, we really need to try and primary all three of them. What a farce Ryan is. Wisconsin, primary Ryan. Call on true conservatives for help.
