I definitely do not expect to see Trump sue Cruz over this.

Yes, he is using this controversy to his perceived advantage very clearly.

Yes, my opinion does matter to me, but in the big picture or to anyone else it does not matter.

I have already decided some time ago that Ted Cruz is qualified based upon being born to an American mother.

I’m not going to tell a person who was born with his American citizenship that he can’t run for president.

There are others in this country who think differently, and I expect that they will try every way they can to enforce there opinion on this.

Trump knows that if it gets down to a 2 man race Cruz will evicerate him in debates. 10 min of generalizations works ok when a dozen people are on the stage splitting the time. When 2-3 people are on the stage Trump is hosed when he has to be detailed and specific.

You are correct, sir.

While back on the ranch...

Huckabee took offense when Cruz wants Huck and Santo to leave the race ...for the good of Ted Cruz.

What’s good for the goose and all that.

How can Trump demonstrate that Cruz’s run for the GOP nomination has injured Trump in such a way that a court can remedy?
*****************************************************************************
Well, how about if Cruz kicks the despicable (with his ‘RAT tactics) Trump’s ass in Iowa?

That certainly would be prima facie evidence of damages. Actually, the mere presence of Cruz on the ballot (supposedly illegally) would be enough for just about any court to accept Trump’s case.

Only someone who is directly affected or damaged in some way has standing. It would have to be a candidate.

-- at this point in time, there is even a question as to whether Cruz is a citizen --

The two determinations "citizen" and "NBC" are resolved simultaneously, yes? I mean, if he's not a citizen, he can't be NBC.

All I'm saying is that it's very safe to assume the citizen question is in fact resolved. He is, in fact, a citizen of the US. On that point, I have NO doubt. Call it informed faith if you want. I don't have the evidence you seek.

If you have doubts about his US citizenship, fine, but I'm not going to correspond with you on that.

No Cruz supporters will change their minds ... in fact, this will make them stronger.

How dare Trump to tell the guy in second place and gaining to drop out.

I hope it’s not too late for people to realize that Trump is an egotistical bully but it’s kinda become a religion with Trump supporters ... they are fanatically devoted.

I’ll just be glad when the debates get down to maybe four people so that Cruz and Trump will have the opportunity to square off. Trump never does well in debates...at least I’ve never thought so. Of course his supporters run to Drudge and vote that he won, whether they even watched them or not.

Oh, I lived in Dallas area all my life until I moved to Maui. The Dallas Morning News has been totally liberal for years.

It’s odd because Texas is conservative. I was sick when the Times Herald folded and I had to go to the DMN.

Trump is an EMPTY SUIT who lacks substance and can only offer innuendo and bluster.

Picky, picky, picky. . . .

That's complete garbage. Every Citizen has standing as we are all affected by the Usurpation of the presidency. That 'standing' BS is a way for the treasonous cowards on the U.S. Supreme Court to hide from the issue. Clarence Thomas has said as much.

-- There are others in this country who think differently, and I expect that they will try every way they can to enforce there opinion on this. --

Their reactions will range from voting for him anyway, to not voting for him out of principle, to attempting to persuade other voters that Cruz is not qualified.

What's wrong with that? If you want the issue "settled" somehow, don't bate your breath waiting.

I'm 100% sure Cruz isn't qualified. I give 80/20 odds SCOTUS would continue to follow its precedents that say the same thing. But I have no interest in persuading you against your finding that Cruz is an NBC. As far as you are concerned, Cruz is qualified, and that's it. Everybody will get to a point on one side or the other. That's part of the political process.

Democrat candidates do not yet have standing as there is no nominee. Only an impacted candidate can file. Alan Grayson will never have standing.

Trump is J.R. Ewing, Asa Buchanan and Max Hershel all rolled into one.

Thanks. They are now added to the list. :)

This is an ongoing list of historical, and Biblical people, as well as fictional characters that Donald Trump has been compared to on FR:

“Democrat candidates do not yet have standing as there is no nominee. “

Well that should make everyone feel better and just ignore this...
