I’ve been to Germany many times, I can tell you, they stand to pee, and the ones at the Soccer matches would crush the living sh*t out of what stands for a “man” in much of America.

Why fight a war in which many millions died, which was started by the treaty between Britain and France with Poland, only to then turn Poland, many other nations, and half of Germany over to the Communists?? Sad. Thankfully, we won the Cold War. With courage and determination and without the sacrifice of millions more dead.

Had we fixed it in 1943 we could have liberated all of Europe at very little additional cost, that is, if we didn't have communists in charge. No wonder the banks financed Hitler.

Yes it could have been fixed before the Normandy invasion when Rommel was prepared to surrender the Western Front. Eisenhower, Dulles, and more etc. argued in favor of that solution. Roosevelt would have nothing but unconditional surrender of the German people, only to Give HALF of Europe to Soviet Russia, that gift to Soviet Russia occurred only after many millions more died unnecessarily, on all sides; until thankfully at the end of the very costly Cold War, the Wall finally fell.

No. Poland has had a very tried and troubled history. The nation came into being, was cut up and went out of being at other nations’ hands. The Polish people have been stalwart.
After centuries of settlement by peoples, who knows what the should be the legitimate lands of the Poles, the Russians, the Germans? Certainly their populations overlapped on the territory. Certainly those who suffered the most were small freeholders just trying to scrape a living from the soil; except for the pogroms.
I visited Poland. The only other language I have is the German, because of my own heritage. My attempts to communicate in German were not disparaged by those who did not speak English. Same at another visit to the Czech Republic. German was tolerated. The Russian language, although they were forced to learn it in the schools, was hated. So we got along just fine, me in the former East, to the limited extent I have yet to experience it. They hated the Russian language they had been forced to learn, even German, the language of another foe, was tolerated, indeed welcomed coming from a tourist.

Given who is in charge of Germany, one has to wonder: Which way did it fall? We are about to gain a nuclear armed Islamic enemy thanks to the leftists who shrouded Europe in social democracy.
Until Merkel unilaterally decided to open Germany to foreign invaders who do not intend to assimilate to European culture, Germany despite the Ossi vs Wessie ill-feelings, was doing quite well since the fall of the wall, thank you very much. It retained the cultural heritage that has been entrusted to it, not only for the modern German Nation State, but for the cultural heritage it represents for all the world, not least to the German heritage in these United States.
The message we have heard from, for example Sweden and Germany, to their Arab and Muslim invitees, is that “my country is your country.” If that is the case, their country (Sweden, Germany, indeed all of Europe) is our country as well, because we have indeed an interest in preserving the cultural heritage that informed and sustained so many European immigrants to America. Indeed our claim to the preservation of our ancestral lands, is far more compelling than the claims of recent “refugees” etc. from Arabic and African lands.
Merkel has affiliates, sadly, in many other European nations, where rape and other crimes have attained unbelievable levels.
I believe, and do not yet know how to approach it, that we Americans of European descent, have a greater claim to Europe and its cultural heritage, than do the recently invited from Arabia and Africa. For Crying Out Loud!
