As the race continues, you start seeing prominent people talking positively about Trump. The silent majority is not so silent.

Pat Buchanan never campaigned like he actually wanted to be President. He just wanted to influence the narrative and make money for him and his sister.
Donald Trump is in it to win!

Smerconish?
The “Reagan Republican” who supported Obama?
Smerconish can go to hell. I’ll never watch the traitor’s show or listen to him.
He’ll do anything to advance his career. He’s a scumbag.

I don't think Buchanan ever said anything nice about Obama and Hillary. Or gave money to liberals.

of course not. Pat is a relic of a past so far gone, so over, so dated, so out of touch, he was pretty much irrelevant in the real world.

Trump is pro Israeli even if the Israeli establishment refuses to admit that. Buchanan hates Israel.

Trump will do fine WITHOUT Pat’s help. But the media may again give Pat the stage to try to make Trump look bad.

Is Trump the new Pat Buchanan?
While I like Buchanan, from the suggestion embedded in the phrase, it is an attempted hit on Trump. I assume Buchanan set him straight.

I hope not, most of Pat Bs’ supporters got zotted here. Shame if that were to happen to the Trump supporters.

Pat never had $11 billion and a 757.
I do see some similar issues such as nationalism and love of sovereignty. Pat was a leader on immigration control way back in the 90s ( before it was the #1 issue it is now) . Their stylistically dissimilar but on budget, immigration and military I see them close on those issues.

This comparison is like saying Barack Husein Obama is like the new Abraham Lincoln. They both were lawyers from Illinois. (Belive it or not, 8 years ago the comparsison was made by an idiot journalist.)
People say outrageous things to grab attention. The heck with reality.

We see this over and over: conservatives point out the downside of the liberal's utopian plans. They get denounced by the Democrats in legislatures and by all the mainstream media, called bigot, hater, and accused of "trying to shove your religion down our throats."
Then all the downsides come to pass within months or years, and now the media says that the people calling out the destruction are merely copycats or throw-backs to the people who warned of the destruction.
The next president, on his first day in office, should order drone strikes on all the major journalism schools. /sarcasm

Notice the difference between CNN-Ross Perot and CNN-Trump
Perot was used as to tool to get Clinton voted in.
Trump will be the tool to keep Clinton voted out.
