Bush clan members aren't fans of having their family dynamics psychoanalyzed - what the political family calls "put on the couch," like a therapy session, according to a recent New York Times article. But while speaking at a town hall-style event on Thursday in Londonderry, N.H., the 2016 Republican presidential candidate Jeb Bush got people talking when, without being asked, he revealed that he loves his mother, Barbara, the most.
"I get asked all the time: 'Well, are you like your brother? Are you like your dad?'" he said. "I know there's a real fascination about this. Let's just - let me get this out of the way: I love my mother more than my dad."

This man is an effing idiot. I realize what he was trying to convey is that he’s his own man and he isn’t slave to the Bush Legacy of his daddy and brother. But this shows you he’s the Carnival Geek of the family. He has no sense of propriety at all. He’d be even worse as a President, God forbid.

I have long thought this. He has not seemed like his heart was in it from the start. I think he had people tell him that it was his time and that he should carry on the family name. They convinced him it would be a cakewalk. But from the beginning he did not show strength and it opened the door to Trump and Cruz. I think that when the history of the 2016 Presidential election is written he will say after he drops out that he never really wanted to run. I just wished that someone would write an exhaustive history of it, like Theodore White did in the 60’s.
