Exactly what does a career politician understand or know "more" about issues than as you describe a "self made billionaire"
You brought up "career politician" not I.
Speaking of incompetence, the TDS is strong in some people.
Me too. In the private sector, you perform or you’re replaced. In the public sector... We see how that works.
Do you think he spelled it out for the reporter?
It makes no sense anyway.
And....the video is at the link.
He either said:
He’s sick of being on the sidelines watching a bunch of incompetence in his mind.
or
He’s sick of being on the sidelines watching a bunch of incompetents in his mind.
Either is awkward phrasing.
Were he to rewrite the sentence, he would say, "watching a bunch of, in his mind, incompetents." Incompetence also works. In any event, the snide remark was about using "incompetence" instead of "incompetents" when he was speaking and wasn't the one who transcribed it, and either one works in the context of the remarks.
A prime example of TDS, known colloquially as Trump On The Brain. Obama and Hillary have it. Jeb and Kasich have it. Too many people here have it.
You seem to be over focused on TDS. I do agree that there is some sort of derangement, but it is tied to many Trump supporters.
Symptoms include the inability to handle even the slightest criticism of Trump.
I’ll vote for Trump, if he is the nominee, but I know he’s not perfect.
My #1 choice is Cruz. I also know that he is not perfect. His voice and speaking style get on my nerves. He doesn’t look presidential. I hate his goofy cowboy boots. His fund raising emails are annoying. I could pick through his policy positions and find a few (or many) that I don’t agree with him 100%.
In short, I don’t think Cruz is the second coming of Christ. Neither is Trump. Can we all agree on that?
In any event, the snide remark was about using "incompetence" instead of "incompetents"...
My comment had nothing to do with the words "incompetence" or "incompetents".
We agree on Trump and Cruz, but not on TDS. I am not focused on it, or overly focused, but when I see an attack on someone based on how a reporter spelled a word, I will call out the stupidity and maybe even assign a motive.
Again, it had nothing to do with the spelling of a word.
It was a comment on Trump’s awkward and simple syntax. The comment was based on a trend and was only highlighted by Trump Jr’s statement.
So you were the one commenting on syntax. There were others claiming he misspelled “incompetents”. Point is the same. You must never have read a transcript of people speaking extemporaneously. It’s how people talk. It’s disjointed, not punctuated, spelled or in full sentences. In any event, let’s make sure that Cruz or Trump are the nominee, ok? No one else is even close to acceptable.
