Major Anti-Islamisation Protest Planned Following Mass Migrant Rape Scandal

A heavy police presence met a small, spontaneous protest in Cologne last night following the mass sex assault against German women by migrant males on New Year's Eve.

Locals are standing up against the loss of their city to migrant gangs, and the politicians who apparently treat citizens with contempt for opposing the change.

German counter migration movement the Patriotic Europeans Against the Islamisation of the West (PEGIDA) have called a mass protest for this Saturday afternoon at the square outside the railway station where the attacks happened.

Announced within the past few hours, the march is likely to attract thousands, and not just of long-standing PEGIDA members, but also of ordinary Germans and the citizens of Cologne.

For many, the realisation that the German mainstream media and government have been apparently colluding in the cover-up of migrant sexual violence has provided a sudden and rude political awakening.

PEGIDA protests in the past have fielded upwards of 30,000 marchers to protest the Islamisation of Europe, and have been characterised by the broad cross section of society who have joined their ranks

Also in the pipeline for Cologne is a demonstration by the emerging Identitarian movement. With a membership mainly comprised of young, middle class, students and educated professionals, the movement has in the past staged mock Islamist executions to highlight the dangers of mass migration, and even sent groups of volunteers to the borders of Europe to help build fences.

I suppose this anti-Islam group has to publicize their schedule in order to receive a permit to gather. They should just go ahead and demonstrate en masse, and simultaneously at multiple locations in Germany. This event by itself would become a news story. Too much prior discussion, participants may be pressured to stay away.

Up until this New Year’s eve episode....Pegida had zero chance of establishing themselves in the Koln area. There was a large establishment of pro-immigrant enthusiasts. Now? I’d say that a quarter of the town is charged up and negative about immigration.

One of the odd things that I saw develop in the episode (I live in Germany)....numerous videos were shot that night in question. Cops say in this area (train-station and Cathedral)....roughly one city block...they had 140 cops on patrol. If you look at the videos shot...there just aren’t any cops seen. Witnesses say that when they did happen to see a cop....he was in the shadows and wasn’t actively doing his duty. In some ways, I think the cops there are fearful and probably can’t carry out their function anymore.

The "idenitarian movement" is called Generation Identity and is a pan-European movement. Their manifesto has been published in English. I rather enjoyed it. It was originally written in French, where they call the institutional left "the sixty-eighters".

Essentially the young people say: Look what you did, you have inherited a great civilization and destroyed it. You destroyed the church, the military, the roles of men and woman, the family, the arts, the university -- everything that gives a person guidance, solace and belonging and in place you left nothing by bad pop culture and alienation.

It is quite an indictment, and certainly applies as well in the USA. Even the term "sixty-eighters", after the "revolutionaries" of 1968 works. Hillary, John Kerry, Bill Clinton, Biden -- all 68ers.

Mullah Obama, Valerie Jarrett, Hillary Clinton, Huma Abedin and John Kerry are now continuing their big push to get 170,000 islamic muslims flown over here and dropped off in hundreds of our U S cities.

I'm sure glad we have our 2nd Amendment! And here in Texas, as of January 1, we can now carry our weapons in plain sight in public on our belts for personal protection. I don't have a hand gun in my house yet, but I'm going to buy one and then take the time to get my carry license!

I would offer this observation....at least from the Koln episode....it wasn’t a pure Muslim situation. Even witnesses will say that at least a third of the group there were African migrants.

From the robbery prospective of that evening in Koln....there’s some talk by the cops to suggest that theme was led by a group having southeastern European connections (Albanians, Macedonians, Gypsies, etc).

You’ve got at least three significant groups, of which the Muslim group is only one of the accused in this riot. Crime-wise (having met around with some of the Syrians over the past year)....you don’t see too many with an attitude about stealing or committing crime. I think Assad’s regime had an effective handle on controlling this attitude in old Syria.

This is one of those multi-level issues where different problems came out of immigration....with different groups....and the intellectual argument of accepting all of them....means you need to accept each unique problem that each group brings. Koln residents probably don’t buy that argument anymore.
