A Mississippi councilman has sparked controversy after calling for dramatic action against police.
Kenneth Stokes, a councilman in Jackson Ward, says he wants his constituents to send a message to police officers from other jurisdictions who chase misdemeanor suspects through their territory.
"What I suggest is we get the black leadership together, and as these jurisdictions come into Jackson we throw rocks and bricks and bottles at them. That will send a message we don't want you in here," he said, reported WLBT.
Stokes also said he's looking into suing police from other jurisdictions who enter Jackson Ward.

I am the type of person that thinks that our government has a lot to do with this...you read what is going on, and you yourself start feeling very unsafe...
It's time to get obuma out of office, build a wall, deport people that are here ‘illegally’ and keep an eye on Mosques, and don't let anyone else enter until we have a better vetting system in place....

Lots of Police calls? Your block is CHARGED MORE that month. Tack the charge on to the water bill... you'll see change - and quickly. The 'no snitch' rule will be dead faster than a liberal whiner can start whining.

He wants criminals to know they’re safe if they can reach his city/ward/area? He has no problem with it becoming a destination for those “criminally inclined?” Really?
