I like Cruz less and less.
Its time for hardball. Use every weapon. Its typical GOPe to disarm yoursekf in the face of a ruthless foe.
Cruz sounds like McCain did in 2008...not good.
I like Senator Cruz more and more.
He stays focused on the real issues, is a real Conservative and has real credibility.
What people did and said 20, or even 2 years ago is fair game right? It matters to the present because it shows character, judgement, and patterns of behavior. If a candidate blames her husband’s victims, then tries to play the “war on women” card, that should be brought up. If a candidate gives money to Terry McAuliffe’s campaign, then tries to act like a conservative, it’s important people know that. If he calls what the other candidate’s husband did “no big deal” a few years ago, then tries to act like it’s the most important disqualification, people should know that.
What people said and did should be, at least, as big an issue as what they say they’re going to do.
I doubt he’ll bring up Benghazi if she objects.
Typical republican POLITICIAN (that’s an insult) gutless and spineless, afraid of confronting ANYONE outside their party no matter what.
He’ll end up being Dole, mc cain and Romney all combined into one milktoast LOSER.
Cruz comment wont limit him if Slick Willy is out everywhere, and becomes part of the story
Alarm bells go off when a Republican starts signaling that he’s too good, too refined, too high-minded, too virtuous, etc., to use certain facts in a campaign. It’s self-regarding, and it’s usually surrender.
The entire Republican party—GOPe, Hannity, Levin, Rush, and all talkers except Savage and Boyles—were too good, too high-minded, too virtuous, too intellectual, to discuss Obama’s crudely-forged “birth certificate,” the proof (provided on a silver platter by Jack Cashill) that Bill Ayers wrote DREAMS, Obama’s membership in Man’s Country, Jeremiah Wright’s racism and Marxism, etc., etc.
If Cruz is concerned about his reputation as a combination of intellectual and lawyer, he’s self-crippling as candidate—and the root cause is vanity.
“Its typical GOPe to disarm yoursekf in the face of a ruthless foe.”
Perfectly stated.
And may I add to let them know ahead of time you are unarmed.
I believe I see WHY you make that statement.
This is how he operated in the Senate and every time he tried to stand in the way of blocking something he ended up be compromised and run over.
That's the last thing we need in a President if we ever hope to turn this Country around.
Cruz doesn’t have to...that’s what Trumps for....he takes the hits and garners the masses....Cruz has a clear path then.
Amen. And I've enthusiastically supported and donated to Cruz.
Extremely disappointing.
This is only one of the many times lately he's exhibited DC Tin Ear Syndrome.
Pfff.
There will be no government shutdown, now et us negotiate the budget. </s>
