Conservatives in Paul Ryan's district: if he makes it through a primary, VOTE FOR THE DEMOCRAT

Posted on 12/29/2015 4:01:39 PM PST by cotton1706

The time has come for desperate measures against the Oligarchy.

There are already rumblings of a primary challenge to Speaker Paul Ryan!

However, we know the Establishment and its donors will go all out to protect Ryan, as they did for Mitch McConnell, who is now safely ensconced in the Senate Majority Leader position.

The Establishment will work to destroy anybody to dares to run against Ryan in a primary. And then they will say "too bad, republicans, it's Ryan or the democrat."

The Establishment can protect Paul Ryan from conservatives in a primary, but they cannot protect Paul Ryan from conservatives in a general election! (unless they can convince their buddies, the democrats, to allow Ryan to run unopposed, which isn't likely)

Therefore, the conservatives in Paul Ryan's district can do the nation a service by voting against him next November if he's on the ballot, and not just by withholding their votes, but by actively voting for the democrat.

Even if not defeated, Paul Ryan will be significantly weakened in his position, prompting others to rise up and run for speaker in January, 2017.

We must do all we can, and only the conservatives in Paul Ryan's district can do it.

And before I am accused of being a shill for the democrats, I ask that you think about all the Establishment donors who said that if Trump or Cruz is the Republican nominee, that they will vote for Hillary.

I ask that you think about John Warner endorsing Tim Kaine, or Richard Lugar endorsing Michelle Nunn, or Dede Scozzafava endorsing Bill Owens, or Bill Bolling endorsing David McCauliffe, or the republican legislators who endorsed Sam Brownback's opponent in Kansas last year. And on, and on.

It could work, with better candidates instead of random losers that freepers seem to favor. And it needs to be a wide net, target subpar members especially in safe districts. Not pointless headhunting of the leadership that we’ve already seen accomplishes nothing.

This “new approach” of electing the evil enemy of civilization is 100% an insane counter-productive idea. What do you think will a happen if Ryan loses to a democrat? The rest will get scared and suddenly decided to be “true conservatives” and elect your favorite member as Speaker? More likely they’d move more to the left.

Cancer sucks, but you don’t try to shoot the tumor.

Primaries are not working to remove entrenched RINO’s.

One simply enables GOPe’s when one keeps re-electing them.
Especially ones with great power like Ryan, Cantor and Bonehead.

I agree with this.

If Trump is the nominee there will be big enough coat-tails that we won’t need Ryan.

Payback is a bitch

P.S. Why is no one talking about Trump’s potential coat tails?

WRONG!

It is never too early to hold politicians responsible - even for “one bad deal”

He got into the job on the heals of Boner being tossed out for making ‘bad deals’ and the first thing he does is make another one?

I want him GONE by any means possible- as a lesson to the others.

My conscience wouldn’t allow it because of abortion. It would have to be 3rd party or write-in for me.

It is difficult for me to overstate exactly how stupid, ignorant, uninformed, and short-sighted this sentiment is...

You assume he controls the process for making and amending budgets and that he can corral a new deal for the same budget before its too late.

Odds are if he doesn’t do political wrangling the RINO’s in the house and senate will simply vote with the Democrats on THEIR budget. Yes I am forced to give him a pass on the first deal. He simply hasn’t had time to come with anther one.

Hes speaker of the house not owner of the house.
