Conservatives in Paul Ryan's district: if he makes it through a primary, VOTE FOR THE DEMOCRAT

Posted on 12/29/2015 4:01:39 PM PST by cotton1706

The time has come for desperate measures against the Oligarchy.

There are already rumblings of a primary challenge to Speaker Paul Ryan!

However, we know the Establishment and its donors will go all out to protect Ryan, as they did for Mitch McConnell, who is now safely ensconced in the Senate Majority Leader position.

The Establishment will work to destroy anybody to dares to run against Ryan in a primary. And then they will say "too bad, republicans, it's Ryan or the democrat."

The Establishment can protect Paul Ryan from conservatives in a primary, but they cannot protect Paul Ryan from conservatives in a general election! (unless they can convince their buddies, the democrats, to allow Ryan to run unopposed, which isn't likely)

Therefore, the conservatives in Paul Ryan's district can do the nation a service by voting against him next November if he's on the ballot, and not just by withholding their votes, but by actively voting for the democrat.

Even if not defeated, Paul Ryan will be significantly weakened in his position, prompting others to rise up and run for speaker in January, 2017.

We must do all we can, and only the conservatives in Paul Ryan's district can do it.

And before I am accused of being a shill for the democrats, I ask that you think about all the Establishment donors who said that if Trump or Cruz is the Republican nominee, that they will vote for Hillary.

I ask that you think about John Warner endorsing Tim Kaine, or Richard Lugar endorsing Michelle Nunn, or Dede Scozzafava endorsing Bill Owens, or Bill Bolling endorsing David McCauliffe, or the republican legislators who endorsed Sam Brownback's opponent in Kansas last year. And on, and on.

Dumb to ever vote for a democrat.

If you like your RINO you can keep your RINO.

The sane among us will do whatever we can to kill off the GOPe. I encouraged those in Boehner's district and Kentuckians to not just set out voting for Mitch and John but to actively vote against them, they didn't and we got what we got.

There is a punchline to a very old joke that goes(somewhat sanitized

A *uck for a duck, a duck for a *uck and a buck for a *ucked up duck.

I think that with Ryan we got stuck with a *ucked up duck.

If your leg is itchy and the cream from the drug store isn’t helping, do you cut the leg off?

If your right hand offend you, cut it off......Read that somewhere.

Backbencher Dem vs backstabbing rino speaker. Which would you prefer? We’re not talking about electing 400 Dims here, just one traitor to extinguish. This would force GOP-ers to look over their shoulder and pay attention to the base.

There are all sorts of examples where more can be accomplished with a relatively few committed individuals vs a bevy of vacillating placeholders. Right now, the Dems are in the minority in both Houses and they got their budget through courtesy of rino Ryan.

“Getting rid of Ryan would strike terror in the hearts of several RINOs and at minimum tighten the sphincters of others. Embrace the pain.”

You want to strike terror into the hearts of RINO’s primary the RINO’s. I remember a Paul Ryan who came out with a great budget deal. This year Paul had no time to do anything but largely eat what was already on the table. Give him a year to get his act together.

Really stupid discussion and ideas.

I doubt his constituents will punish the guy that was asked to fun for VP, asked to serve as Speaker, and was reelected in 2014 with 63% of the vote.

We are talking about replacing 1 GOPe with great power with 1 run of the mill Rat.

If these better Red than Dead RINO lovers who are getting all we weed up are representative of Conservative thought then we can just hang it up and eat our peas. If you can't kill the RINO in the primary then we better vote for the Dem or we will never change anything for the better in the GOPe.

I’m for running a conservative candidate in the general if the worst RINOs (say the members of the Republican Steering Committee) can’t be successfully primaried.

At least give people a choice, and a chance for their voice to be understood.

The enemy of your Enemy will be your ally against your enemy.

To think otherwise is to take on a fight you cannot win. You must uses your enemies against one anther, so that they can’t fight you, while fighting each other.

Republicans must put aside voting their conscience and vote the way the Democrats have for 40 years which is why they win so often:

Never for FOR a candidate. Always vote in whatever manner you must do to render the most damage to the candidate you least, or simply do not want to win.

No. You use a different cream.

Do you think primaries are working to get rid of entrenched GOPe’s?

I think that democrats are worse than Nazis and voting for them is the same thing as shooting ourselves in the face.

A third party candidate is needed.

Once again. Do you think removing GOPe’s through primaries are working?

It is a simple yes or no question

Fine, you campaign for him. He's a traitor.

And a third party campaign is incredibly cheap. A grand would get 5 or 10 per cent of the vote against a RINO.

Of course to win takes a lot more.

This ain't an itchy leg, it's a cancer.
