Madison - Rep. Joel Kleefisch (R-Oconomowoc) said he's been cited for killing two turkeys with one shot.
Kleefisch said Monday he was hunting Sunday in Waukesha County when he killed the tom as well as a nearby jake with pellets from the same shot.
He said he didn't mean to shoot the jake but called a warden because he lacked a tag for the second bird. He was told he would be cited since he was warned several years ago about being sure of his target when he dropped three geese with one shot.
Kleefisch said the citation is in the mail and he expects to be fined anywhere from $200 to $300.
A state Department of Natural Resources spokesman didn't immediately return an email seeking comment.

Thanks. I wouldn’t have figured that out in a million years.
A bird flew into the path of a Randy Johnson fastball and disintegrated. (Animal rights people were actually claiming that he aimed for the bird.)
Bird got in the way of a fastball.
I think it was a pigeon that flew right into the ball thrown by Randy Johnson...
Hehe...
Thanks to you all. I watched it over and over and was simply mystified.
The additional details/info are fascinating. The people watching that game will never forget it, I daresay.
And so you’d never hit 3 geese in one shot either.....?
Neither will the bird.
Thanks. At least the pigeon...never knew what hit it.
Haha!
Mossberg 12 gauge with turkey choke and 3 1/2 inch magnum turkey loads. I shoot them routinely at 70 yds. Waited till the 2nd tom was behind a tree before I pulled the trigger on the 1st. 2nd tom just had to peek his head out as I shot. One golden BB in the head and he was as dead as the 1st.
It happens.
I killed a rabbit with a golf ball once.........

I shot one once that was on the run. Drew my.22 pistol and plunked him. The two guys I was with were amazed.
(It was pure luck)
Now a days...that's illegal.
As far as killing three geese with one shot...IMO, that's not good aiming or hunting. Not sure it's illegal though....Depends on the bag limit and regs where you are hunting...
This turkey hunter...only had a tag for one. I think he's a moron.
Of course I think most Politicians are morons....
Impossible. A lesser pitcher maybe, but... how could any bird see and think fast enough to be able to fly into the path of a pitch by the Big Unit?
Thanks. I wouldnât have figured that out in a million years.

There’s a slower version of it on youtube.
Probably stolen. Serves that thieving squirrel right!
I might be mistaken but IIRC he had to pay a fine or pay off PETA as they went into their usual hysterics over it. The fine I’m unsure of but PETA spazzing I remember pretty well.
Thanks for the tip. Actually I would like to see more of the batter’s reaction. Clearly not what he was expecting!
I had a hunt for Merriam's up in So. Dakota a couple years ago...but 4 Tom's kept circling around each other...in some trees. I never had a good shot...so I didn't take it.
Later that morning..I called in two Tom's..and my buddy and I doubled. Was a great hunt!!
