He didn’t have enough sense to know how to stay invisible. Kind of hard to though given his background.
It was inevitable that he or one of his parents would slip up.
None of them seem to have an overabundance of common sense.

I reckon you know someone that was on the run, if I need to run someday I’ll save and remember this info, good stuff.

Yep - it’s hard to be in the spotlight for years, then move under the radar. It takes a lot of discipline I suppose.

Went back and looked - you are right about the trials being moved. But wasn’t the second transferred to one of the defense lawyer’s buddies in Houston?

Combined with flight to another country, he will most likely serve the remaining time of the 10 year sentence.

It'd be nice to hope that he will, but with the best legal counsel that Daddy can buy do you honestly think either one will serve time?

Couch, then 16, was speeding and had a blood-alcohol level of nearly three times the legal limit when he lost control of his pickup truck and fatally struck a stranded motorist on the side of the road and three people who had stopped to help.

At least he wasn't smoking pot.

Race Horse Haynes defended him in Amarillo and in Houston. At least that’s the was it was in the movie I was in.

I was wrong.

As of now, the most severe punishment Couch could face is 120 days in adult jail, Tarrant County District Attorney Sharen Wilson said at a press conference

I doubt he will do the 120 days max or any thing close to it.

“He’s better off in jail. With parents like these he’ll become a serial killer.”

He’s already got the look.
