Huckabee: My Money's On Trump

When it comes to Donald Trump's threat to go after Bill Clinton as the former president ramps up campaigning for his wife's bid, Mike Huckabee is all in on his Republican rival.

"Look, nothing's backfired on Donald Trump yet. I'd put my money on him," the former governor of Arkansas told "Fox and Friends" in an interview Monday. "Frankly, he's played the whole media game like a kid on Christmas morning with a toy drum. He's beaten the heck out of them, and I honestly don't think that this is going to hurt Donald Trump - and I think the Clintons have some vulnerability here."

Maybe it is and maybe it isn’t and maybe your theory is correct and maybe it isn’t. But we’re not playing touch football here and Trump didn’t become a billionaire by being nice and just hoping everyone plays nice together. Billionaires and businessmen often have people that do all sorts of behind the scenes things for them, usually lawyers or silent partners. That’s why they are rich and we’re not.

I don't disagree with your post. If the scenario is true I wouldn't blame Trump.

I would however blame the deceptive religious guy.

Vote for Cruz. He’s the only way to win.

Worry not—Trump is a smart man and you will see more blacks and Latinos pulling the lever for him in the long run. Besides-Hillary may not be the candidate in the end—could be Sanders. He can lead the Wagon Train of the American electorate right to the White House and beyond. It might be Capitalism and the Flag vs. Communism and Marx.

“He will lose, and we are stuck with Hillary. It’s the electoral map that matters.”

Sure glad you weren’t around during our War of Revolution. With guys like you, the Redcoats would have prevailed. It ISN’T the Electoral Map that matters it’s principled leadership. I’m done with rubberstamping, the GOPe’s latest “$hit sandwich.” The truth is that the GOPe has been “schlonging” the voters for the entirety of my lifetime. Ronald Reagan was like Trump in that they didn’t have big enough guns to take him out, but they did saddle him with that sack of $hit GHWB. This time, they can’t do that to Trump (or maybe Cruz). At some point in your life, you have to take a stand.

You can’t win Florida, Virginia, and Ohio with such an anti-Hispanic message. And you can’t win the presidency without Florida, Virginia, and Ohio. . . . .

_______________________________________________________

I have no idea what you are listening to but, Trump is popular with many Latinos, He has nothing against Latinos his problem is with illegals and they know that.

Yet, McCAin, Bush, Romney hispandered themselves to death and they couldn’t win it either! Hispanics, especially illegals STILL hated them.

I believe Sanders will win nomination.
Hillary announced that the Clintons were “dead broke” when they left the WH; now they control a quarter of a gigabuck. They got that way by honoraria to Bill and contributions to the Clinton Foundation, much of it reportedly from foreign governments. But according to the Constitution,
Article 1 Section 9:
No title of nobility shall be granted by the United States: and no person holding any office of profit or trust under them, shall, without the consent of the Congress, accept of any present, emolument, office, or title, of any kind whatever, from any king, prince, or foreign state
The Constitution also provides that
Each State shall appoint, in such Manner as the Legislature thereof may direct, a Number of Electors, equal to the whole Number of Senators and Representatives to which the State may be entitled in the Congress
. . . which means that any state which was serious about CFR and keeping dirty money out of politics would pass a law forbidding anyone who, being a federal official, was a principal in an organization which accepted money from a foreign government without seeking and obtaining the consent of Congress from having Elector candidates pledged to them appear on the state ballot. Such law would create a civil cause of action, not requiring executive action for enforcement.

Trump is better disposed to CFR than I am, but in any event every Republican candidate should take that message to every state in which they campaign for primary votes. Whether or not it resulted in favorable legislation in purple and blue states, it would certainly be an embarrassment to Democrats committed to Hillary. If any significant-sized state which the Democrats need for the election actually passed such a law, it could devastate Hillary’s run for the nomination.

That law would be entirely justified for immediate implementation. I would go further, and advocate that its applicability should in future not be limited to federal office holders. If people think you might become POTUS, you should not be accepting money from foreign governments. In any event, it would not impact anyone who did not run for president . . .

Huckabee sees the writing on the wall - he and Santorum were backing Trump in the last kiddie debate too.

“He said he has never ask God for anything.”

Perhaps Trump is happy with what he has and thanks God for it instead of asking for more.

Faith is supposed to be a private thing, not done for show or to impress others.

I thought it was also something not to be judged by others, as well.

Looks like a few posters may have missed that :(

Every talking tv head, and GOPeer says the same about Trumps inability to win.

If Trump ever sharpens his message, to include America, and how we will lead, And America will achieve victory and mete out appropriate justice to our enemies, he will win running away.

So far his slogan is good, but the message not yet powerful enough to turn the tide.

I would like to believe that with Trump or Cruz—the truth is finally on the march and cannot be impeded.
