I certainly understand your concerns. But there is a difference between inner-city ferals who kill each other and jihadis who directly attack soft targets in the US that effect everyone.

I remember reading that authorities got a heads up on the 9/11 attacks. There was a lot of chatter in the days prior.

You are evidently not a New Yorker and certainly not a Jewish person. Th word Trump used, means defeated badly, beaten badly like In: The New York Mets schlonked the Chicage Cubs, 10-0. It is freely used by all New Yorkers!!!
Yeah that’s true, there’s really nothing they can do. They can scrounge for tips but if these wackos are hellbent on attacking, it wouldn’t take much to work right under the radar. The thing about NYC though, is there are sooooo many Muslims there that are right off the boat, it’s pretty scary stuff. Just take a taxi, probably 70 to 80% of the time you’ll get a Muslim born in another country as the driver. That is a LOT. And there are THOUSANDS of them driving all over that city 24/7. That’s a hell of lot of potential car bombs.

NEW YORK – New York City police officers were reminded Tuesday in a memo to be on heightened alert ahead of the especially busy holiday season when tourists flock to the Big Apple, law enforcement sources told PIX11 News Tuesday.
Separately, a federal law enforcement source told PIX11 of a specific possible threat that could face any one of several major U.S. cities. Few details were released about the nature of the threat.
NYPD officials told PIX11 after the release of this report that there is no specific “credible threat,†as the earlier version of this report, based on sources, had stated.
