Sounds like Trump is getting ready to do a Yuge landslide and people are not only very worried, but very very scared!!!
Why not? The cheering we heard when Trump threatened to go 3rd party was welcomed here so why not have another candidate run. Fair is fair. And if Trump was so comfortable winning going 3rd party, he should win on the GOP ticket while Cruz runs third party. I actually hope it happens. I am sick of only two choices. I’d love a Trump - Cruz - Clinton - Sanders choices. Wouldn’t that be awesome?
They would not dare.
Remember the source, the rabid liberals always have an ulterior motive or they are very scared, take your pick.
They might do that if they are complete idiots.
How does the party run a third party candidate — once it’s members have nominated Trump?
It wouldn’t be the GOP doing it — it would have to be some splinter group of politicians and donors.
I wonder what they would call themselves?
.
This has to be ignorant post of the year.
All the GOPe has to do to ‘beat’ Trump is keep their nose clean.
Trump is already beaten by the numbers, no matter how hard the MSM tries to elevate him.
JEBRA ?
No
So the George Will’s of the world endorse someone other than Mr Trump after the convention, yawn. Aren’t those guys the ones we wanted to push down a flight of stairs anyway?
The GOPe would rather lose to a RAT than have Trump win.
The Politico is somewhere between HuffPo and The Onion.
They have a history of this. Recall the Alaska senate race when the anointed Country Club republican lost the primary to a conservative. No problem, the crony capitalists just opened their wallet and bought the general election, giving the democrats another safe ‘republican’ vote in the Senate.
Trump has coattails. If we want to primary GOPe types or democrats in purple states, or even take another statehouse or two, this is the election to do it.
I don’t think they can pull running a third party presidential candidate off. It would be suicidal.
The Grand Old Pharisee Establishment
The Uniparty has spent a lot of time and effort in the lat decade to make sure that no 3rd party candidate would ever have a chance to scare them again... so it would be sweet justice to see them opt for that huge hill to climb... but it will never happen. The brokered convention is their safety-valve.
Politico. Ignore.
This idea reminds me of Anderson running against Reagan.
They would not dare do this!
