Apparently, all of the "inner city yutes of color", instead of reaping all the "gibsmedat" rewards of LBJ's dumb ass Great Society scheme, were fed lead chips by the liberal dims of the day, with the foreknowledge that they would grow up and become wacky bastards that would sacrifice themselves to the local police departments in order to further the cause of the advancement of the black race.
And of course, give opportunity for the disadvantaged members of the Nuffins family to get Dindoo out on the street and do as he damn well pleases, as in burning down the local grocery stores, the local CVS, looting the liquor stores, emptying out the shoe stores of all the Air Jordans, 'cause, you know, poor Dindoo needs to cover his tired feets.
But one thing they kinda missed out on and that was to train them at an early age to blame Whitey for everything, so now the medial has taken on that formidable task and as they do so, the Nuffins have learned that they can do as they damned well please, blame it on whitey and probably collect a few million dollars in an out of court settlement.
Of course, the "gentle giants" may not always survive, but hey, that's the cost of doing bidness, doncha know?
Strange. Why is it so many of us oldsters survived our younger years surrounded by lead painted everything.
Is lead somehow attracted to people with lots of melanin in the skin? Even in Chicago lead is attracted to black people at a high rate 1000 fps.
Now I think about it, we oldsters also survived playing with liquid mercury.

So where in the Constitution does Congress get the power to establish a lead paint cleanup program? Let Maryland or Baltimore take care of that, if they’re not doing that already.

IIRC, the illegitimacy rate among poor, white women is roughly the same as the black illegitimacy rate.

"The U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development declared the city (of Baltimore) a "high-risk" grantee last fall, ineligible to apply for more lead-abatement funds after finding the city health department seriously behind in fixing up homes and unable to document the work it had done. The health department had pledged to treat 364 homes, but had managed less than half that number by last spring, with less than a year to go on the grant. Health officials say they had finished work on 297 homes by the time the grant was closed out.
Housing Commissioner Paul T. Graziano said the lead-paint abatement effort has been transferred to his agency from the health department, where it will go forward with a smaller staff, a lower goal, better accountability and a combination of state and other federal funds."

That helps explain the behavior of many crazy cat ladies and you might have a point there. I don’t recall ever meeting or hearing of a conservative crazy cat lady.
