Sharron Angle, who was vilified for running against Harry Reid in 2010 as a Tea Party conservative, is considering a comeback now that Harry Reid, having suffered a political black eye by losing the Senate, is retiring in 2016. The only problem is that she would have to run against the establishment-backed GOP candidate, Joe Heck.
Joe Heck gets an "F" from Conservativereview.com...just like Harry Reid! He voted to fully fund Planned Parenthood's baby chop shops, voted to give Obama fast-track trade authority, voted against killing Obama's illegal amnesty for aliens, and voted to support keeping John Boehner as speaker, and those are just some of his bad votes from this year alone. If elected to the Senate, he would be like Harry Reid with less creepy glasses.

[Establishment] Republicans do not believe that Angle can beat Heck, who is a major recruiting coup for Republicans in one of the only competitive open-seat elections in 2016. But there are two worries: That she could drag Heck to the right and leave Cortez Masto running room in purple Nevada, and that she could drain Heck's resources before an expensive general election.
Wouldn't that be awful, if Angle dragged a RINO "to the right"? He might be forced to at least rhetorically take conservative positions (which, of course, would be forgotten the minute he's elected).
But the establishment sees it as a liability to even run as a conservative. This is the kind of twisted thinking that is opposed to Sharron Angle and other conservative candidates.

True Trebb....and absolutely I wanted her to beat Dingy Harry...BADLY. However, I am just about sick and tired of our side always jumping on the bandwagon of the first head to pop up. Angle is not the answer. Neither was Nancy Mace against Linsdey Graham...nor was Todd Akin ever a good answer. All establishment types are bad, but NOT ALL ANTI ESTAB types are the right answer.
Some people just can't wrap their heads around that.

Angle is a no-go irregardless of any criticism of Heck.
No way Heck will get my endorsement with that epic-level anti-Conservative, anti-Constitutional apostasy in his comments. No wall on the Mexican border ? Open borders for Mohammadans, too ? Is he f***ing nuts ? I wouldn’t vote for that scum for dogcatcher.

Seriously, I am thinking that Tea Party voters need to learn the concept of ‘openly skittish support’.
Until a better candidate comes along, she is the ‘Anti-Heck’. At the same time, I hope we can do better. And who knows?
Wouldn’t it be amazing if, despite her many flaws, she beats Heck and becomes a senator? What a message that would send to the Establishment.
And if she fails, well, no stronger anti-Heck bothered to step forward. Nowhere to go but up.

No harm in being openly skittish and critical of her, but at least she’s not a complete sell-out.

I can explain it to you, but I cannot understand it for you. You have yet to demonstrate any reading comprehension ability. You are having an argument that I am not having, and despite clarifications by me AND others on my behalf, you still don’t get it. I’ll waste no more of my time.

You don’t want to be on record endorsing Sharron Angle. Sure, I understand that. You don’t want to campaign for her [obviously], and I’m not asking you to. You think she’s an ‘embarassment’.
But better the pain than the shame. Farting is fine in this instance — all over Joe Heck.
During a primary — never cave to the Establishment. Even if it means that Sharron Angle happens to be the only one we know of as the anti-Heck. I don’t care if she were even a stripper. I don’t care if she even killed dogs and cats for fun —
NEVER, EVER cave to the Establishment during a primary. Because the more wretched the anti-Heck is, the smack-down is only that much harder with each percentage point she wins.
gee, while we’re at it, lets recruit todd akins too. the gop-e hates talking about what a legtimate rape is. if the gop-e hates it, then tru conservatives must be for it!
