An upstate New York pizza shop owner admitted Thursday he tried to recruit fighters for the Islamic State group in Syria.

Mufid Elfgeeh, 31, a naturalized U.S. citizen, helped arrange travel and funding and put one recruit in touch with an English-speaking Islamic State contact in Iraq via Facebook, authorities said.

Elfgeeh pleaded guilty in federal court to two counts of attempting to provide material support to a foreign terrorist organization under a plea agreement that recommends a sentence of just under 22 ½ years in prison.

This is the kind of “New American” that warms the heart of Congressional Republicans. They can be so dramatic — by causing mass slaughter, they are good for identifying the racist in our society — those who condemn such people, they further the glories of multi-culturalism, and best of all, they are not Christian.

The plea agreement “recommends” a 22 year sentence??? Why does that not reassure me?

His citizenship should also be revoked and he should be deported when his sentence has been completed.

Here is another one:

Kebab shop owners infected almost 150 customers with a rare and serious form of food poisoning after their meals were contaminated with human feces

By Lydia Willgress for MailOnline
Published 24 September 2015

Two kebab shop owners who infected nearly 150 customers after their meals were contaminated with human faeces have been ordered to pay 28,000 (UK pounds) in compensation.

Mohammad Abdul Basit and Amjad Bhatti, of the Khyber Pass takeaway in Nottingham, were responsible for an outbreak of E.coli that saw 142 customers fall seriously ill.

One 13-year-old girl nearly died when she was left in intensive care while others were left bedridden for days.

The outbreak was caused by the victims eating food contaminated with human feces, food hygiene inspectors said.

Basit, 48, and Bhatti, 45, yesterday pleaded guilty to seven offenses of failing to comply with European provisions for food safety and hygiene.

They were handed four-month jail sentences, suspended for 12 months, and were ordered to pay costs of 25,000 (UK pounds) at Nottingham Crown Court. Each victim will also receive 200 (UK pounds) compensation.

Judge Jeremy Lea, sentencing, said: 'This was a very serious and significant outbreak of food poisoning, caused by you in the way that you ran your business, as food business operators, and caused by your breaches of food safety and health regulations.

Between June 18 and June 26 last year a large number of those who went to Khyber Pass, either to eat or take food away, were made ill as a result of food that they had been given.

'Some of whom were made so ill and unwell they had to go to hospital. One, a 13-year-old girl, was made so unwell, notwithstanding the treatment she had in hospital, she may have died.

'One or two individuals [had] never felt so ill. They thought they were going to die. This affected people not only for weeks, but in many cases for months.'

The rare strain of E.coli was only the second outbreak of its kind in Europe and was last seen in Italy during the Second World War.

Mr Lea added that a significant amount of infected matter was needed to cause so much severe illness in those who ate at the takeaway.

He said: 'What was going wrong here was the poor hand washing with soap and clean water to reduce the risk of contamination.

'If you make money by supplying cooked food, you owe members of the public a real duty to ensure people will not be made unwell by your disregard of food safety and hygiene and regulations.'

The court heard the 13-year-old victim was rushed to Nottingham's Queen's Medical Centre, where she was diagnosed with gastroenteritis and treated in intensive care.

Another victim, father-of-one Bartosz Wesolowski, 31, ate a chicken kebab from the Kyber Pass and was told by a nurse he 'could have died'.

Inspectors also found there was inadequate hand washing and surfaces of microwaves were contaminated heavily with food debris.

Bernard Thorogood, prosecuting, said: 'The standards of hygiene there in June 2014 were low.'

Robert Egbuna, defending, said Basit and Bhatti, both from Derby, admitted their responsibilities.

He added lessons had been learnt and improvements made at the takeaway.

Paul Dales, from Nottingham City Council's food, health and safety team, speaking after the case, described the outbreak as 'significant'.

Mufid Elfgeeh, 31, a naturalized U.S. citizen...

Two things need doing:

1. Take away his US citizenship. Forever
2. Deport to the wilds of ISIS-controlled Syria by C-130 LEAPS.

I know some will say drop him out of the plane without a parachute, but I was being civil. After all, we COULD just shoot him, and save on all the Avgas!

Typo—Not LEAPS but LAPES (Low Altitude Parachute Extraction System).

ick.

This does not sound like accidental poisoning to me.

Notice that the muslim poisoners who "accidentally" poisoned 150 people who ate their food didn't poison themselves.

If the food was "accidentally" contaminated because they didn't wash their hands and their food prep areas were unsanitary how is it their customers were poisoned but they were not?

After all, they were the ones spreading the contamination with their dirty hands and poor sanitation.

Not to take anything away from your thesis, they might have an immunity given the cultural habits (or lack thereof) of hygiene.

Either way failure to assimilate is deadly.

Forget his citizenship...take away his peel, for crying out loud!

That ought to fix him.

To satisfy my curiosity .... does anybody on here know if a naturalised US citizen can be stripped of citizenship and deported back to its country of origin, or are they still in no matter how badly they behave?

We could pretend to be a gay couple, and demand catering services for our wedding.
The contact the Human Rights Commission and get them to sue on our behalf.
After we collect, then we “come out” as conservatives.
Fraud?
Nope. Tacquiyyah.
