Rush Limbaugh: ‘Disband the Republican Party’
The Blaze ^ | 12/18/15 | David Urbinski

Posted on 12/18/2015 8:47:51 AM PST by VinL

Blasting the Republican-led Congress over a $1.1 trillion omnibus bill that, among other things, fully funds Planned Parenthood and has the White House declaring victory yet again on fiscal fronts, conservative radio host Rush Limbaugh said Thursday that the GOP should be disbanded.

"There is no Republican Party!" Limbaugh said. "You know, we don't even need a Republican Party if they're gonna do this. You know, just elect Democrats, disband the Republican Party, and let the Democrats run it, because that's what's happening anyway.”

Limbaugh recounted how American voters "showed up in record numbers" and "defeated Democrats down the ballot" in order to get Republicans to stop runaway spending and President Barack Obama's agenda.

"And now the Republicans have the largest number of seats in the House they’ve had in Congress since the Civil War," he said. "And it hasn't made any difference at all. It is as though Nancy Pelosi is still running the House and Harry Reid is still running the Senate. 'Betrayed' is not even the word here. What has happened here is worse than betrayal. Betrayal is pretty bad, but it’s worse than that."

"This was out andout, in our face lying, from the campaigns to individual statements made about the philosophical approach Republicans had to all this spending," Limbaugh said, adding that it has, in part, led to the rise of leading Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump.

"If Donald Trump didn't exist and if the Republican Party actually does want to win someday, they'd have to invent him,” Limbaugh said. "It's just mind boggling when you figure out everything that has been granted Obama. All the money, the tax increases, the Cadillac plans in Obamacare. All kinds of punitive things in Obamacare, delayed yet again so that people will not be made aware of the pain and suffering Obamacare's gonna cause.”

What makes the GOPEs and RINOs even worse than the socialist Democrats is the duplicitousness — the dishonesty — the lack of integrity and honor — the disdain (if not outright hatred) for conservatives these “professional politicians” have, all the while professing their love of the Constitution and of traditional American values ... saying anything to get elected. To hell with GOPEs and RINOs ... the whole lot of them!

Because of our political winner take all system there will always be just 2 parties. In the past they would disband a party but in modern times that is expensive and problematic.

The D and R party may as well be labeled by color alone (as they do now anyway) because it's just A vs B now. The parties may still stand for something but really they are more regional and cultural parties now and only play lip service to ideology. That applies to both parties. And yes, it does seem at times a uni-party - two sides of the same coin.

The Cabana Boy needs to play both sides to maintain his ‘street creds’ with the GOPe and liberals. The GOPe wisdom is that to win the election you must be conservative in appearance but move to the left to get the majority of the electorate. You can see how well that has worked in the past with McCain and Romney. If Rubio had made the vote he would either loose the conservative vote or the liberal vote. Loose both ways in his mind. Therefore, he is no longer considered a viable candidate. He just wants to get into power and all that it portends.

Personally, I no longer comprehend what the GOPe, or the Republican Party stands for. Just get reelected?

Millions and millions of Republican voters consistently say they are sick of the Republican Party acting like Democrats. Then Trump comes along and personifies that hatred, Cruz, Fiorina, Carson can also credit much of their support to that feeling. Combined, they account for about 65% of the Reuters 5-day rolling poll average. 2/3 of the Republican voters are voting for “not politics as usual”

A politician who thinks about his or her constituents would be able to discern that “politics as usual” is out and “WE HAVE HAD ENOUGH” is in. Theoretically, they’d recognize it and vote accordingly. Apparently, they didn’t and for that reason (among MANY others) they need to go.

Trump should run as an Independent. If he doesn’t, this means he’s going to go ‘Paul Ryan’ on us and turn out to be another one of ‘THEM’.

How about we kick out the tired old fogies and start over with a Conservative Party?

Might as well, they sure don’t represent their voters.

The next president is pretty likely to be a one-termer IMO, if he actually tries to do anything to right the current ship of state. It’s going to require actual discipline, and probably some actual pain as well. Congress has been facilitating the democrats pushing all the pain further down the road for years. Personally, I expect yet another major recession to begin as soon as the press starts actually reporting truthfully about the state of our economy. It’s probably not going to be pretty.

Whomever is elected is not going to have an easy term.

I just wrote an email to Trump BEGGING HIM to run 3rd party.

The GOP has demonstrated it is populated by fools, liars, and traitors.

Time for a real Conservative party who does the will of the people. Trump’s as good a start as any.

Take over the Republican party.

Look, there was ONCE UPON A TIME when there were at least SOME Democrats who loved this nation.

Scoop Jackson, Zell Miller, and Jack Kennedy are just a few examples. Their policies might not have been the right prescription...but their motives were patriotic.

We face the same right now in the GOP.

Never let the liberals take it over; instead, throw the bums out.

Reagan didn’t leave...he became the leadership.

He is right. Ryan just handed the White house to Hillary.

I will vote in Iowa in February. That may be the last vote I do as a Republican. They are worse then the Dem’s. At least the Dems are openly for what the GOP votes for.

One term, or forcibly a one term.

The establishment is scared. There are two major “outside” candidates running, Sanders and Trump.

Which makes me wonder who might be pushing them.

“..Repubs apparently lost their balls when they failed to impeach Clintoon...”

Clinton was impeached and found guilty of two of the charges brought against him. Perjury and obstruction of justice. His very twisted ego would not let him resign as he should have. The Congress did not have the guts to remove him from the White House. He should have been impeached and tried for his treasonous action during Chinagate. Now compare Clinton’s crimes to those of Obama...

“Paul Ryan just cast a huge bloc vote for Trump.”

In case anyone was thinking RINOs aren’t so bad and politicians can be trusted, this vote reminded them why we need Trump.

They impeached him, but Trent Lott blocked conviction in the Senate. In his defense, he really didn’t have the votes though.
