This is how college crybullies are made. Special snowflakes have to be coddled and chauffeured into existence.
i walked three blocks to school and back when I was six. My parents had no problem with that.
No, I had it easy, my Dad though had to walk uphill both ways to school in the snow 1920s.
This is how dykes procure the children they won’t bear.
Heck I was in Kindergarten when I walked to school and back. No big deal.
windsor locks wasn’t much different
I was raised in The Fifties and, by the Nanny State standards of today, my parents would have been sent to prison several dozen times.
Yet here I am, and knowing for a certainty that I was better raised than any kids of today.
You’d think that the parents of America never had any children before 1998.
I used to walk to school in the first grade. Crossed a four-lane hwy by myself and sometimes while leading my smaller siblings in succeeding years. We had about a half-mile walk one way and the traffic was always busy. This is insane what they are doing to this mom.

I laugh when I see the line of SUV’s lined up around the Elementary and Middle Schools around here. You would think the Kids were all born without Feet.
When I was in the third grade there were kids that came to school barefoot all the time.
They couldn’t afford shoes so when it started getting cold the teachers asked the families that could afford to by shoes if they would buy shoes for them.
believe it or not there is not any more child abduction today as there was 50 years ago. we only hear about all the evil awful stuff more because of television. I have a feeling that most children are safer today then they were in the 1960s because we are better at spotting those that mean to harm children and when they do harm a child they are more likely to get caught and not victimize more kids.
That could be true. Media and especially news was very rare at exposing things in the 60’s. Today 24 hour news and nothing goes unnoticed.
“So how long were you in prison?”
Well, I did have to go to the school and bring him his shoes and get tsked tskd at.
This country has truly gone to Hell.
Hard to imagine getting a jury conviction. I am surprised the D.A. decided to pursue this case.
