AGOURA HILLS, CA -- Students filming for a school project were arrested after officials said they caused panic when they were seen walking near the 101 Freeway with fake guns on Sunday.
The Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department said deputies and the California Highway Patrol were dispatched to the Cheseboro Road overpass on the 101 Freeway at about 5 p.m.
Authorities said at least 10 drivers called 911 to report men with firearms standing over the freeway.
Officers responded and said they found two men standing on the bridge, one dressed in military-style fatigues and appeared to be carrying an assault-type rifle.

I didn’t think there was a school in the country that would allow even a pop tart shaped as a gun.
He says “if you see something, say something” but that wasn't the case when a student plugged in a weird timing device disrupting a class (how did his clock make sounds, anyhow?).

Liberals Hollywierd has no problem with gun violence on film. But they do get one thing right about guns. Bad guys have no problem getting as many as they want.

Seriously, I miss my California. Now if someone sees a gun, it paranoia time. ‘Creating a false emergency’? Could have had a cop drive up and ask what’s up. ‘Display of replica firearms’? This is a law? Seriously?
Hope an intelligent judge throws up the insane made up charges. I’m not saying that the kids were brilliant, and likely broke the various filmmaking laws in the city by not paying off the right officials for a permit, but come on...
