The video indicates a 15 mile range. Somewhat limited, although I would imagine any deliveries they offload from UPS would provide a cost saving on shipping.

This is a gimmick to be sure. Watch what the other hand will be doing. I.e. Using private people to deliver packages ala uber or lyft.
