Turkey recovered the body of a Russian pilot from northern Syria and presented it to Russian diplomats on Sunday, five days after shooting down his warplane in an incident that wrecked relations between two of the main powers involved in Syria's war.

A coffin carrying Oleg Peshkov arrived by ambulance on the tarmac of Hatay Airport in southern Turkey near the Syrian border, a Reuters photographer said.

It was flown to the capital Ankara, where according to Russia's RIA news agency it was met at an airfield by Moscow's ambassador and military attache. The Russian embassy declined to comment and Turkish officials did not immediately disclose when the body would be repatriated to Russia.

Murdered a pilot because it was attacking the ‘rebels’ in Syria.

These are our allies?

We should be allied with Russia, who is our natural ally (Christian, European).

Instead, we back the Muzzies.

The US and Turkey are supporting ISIS and the other Muslim terrorist factions trying to oust Assad. This was a proxy war with Russia supporting Assad until it decided to get directly involved.

Who do you think was behind the Arab Spring movements that led to the overthrow of Egypt and Libya?

F*** our Islamist/MB-controlled gubmint. We should not be arming ANYONE who can't take a breath without saying "Allahu Akbar"!!!!!!

Although counter-intuitive, Americans should back Putin keeping Assad in place and his push back against rebels and ISIS.

Turkey has never been a friend of NATYO or the west. They use NATO as a cover for their incursions into Greece and are using it now against Russia while our fairy boy is also protecting ISIS.

I agree. It's time to draw a line in the sand. On one side those who follow the commands of Jehovah, and on the other side, those under the spell of Satan / Allah.

Pity those standing in-between.

I feel stronger everyday that Islam IS the 'beast' John was shown in Revelation.

A fair book on the subject for those interested:

Islam has encoded in its teachings- murder, lying, plunder, slavery, rape, warfare, and even terrorism as part of its official religious doctrine. Jesus said that the thief comes only to steal, kill, and destroy, and this is exactly what Islam has done from its beginning. No other religion so completely fits the description in the Bible of the beast and false prophet than Islam.

Islam is different from all the other religions that do not believe in Jesus, because Islam officially declares that Jesus is not the Son of God (Quran 4: 171; 18: 4-5), which is the Biblical definition of Antichrist: "Who is the liar but he who denies that Jesus is the Christ? This is the Antichrist, he who denies the Father and the Son" (1 John 2: 22).

The spread of Islam has left a trail of blood, suffering, and destruction like no other ideology in world history. History, and even this present age, shows us that Islam is a very violent and fascist religion, full of hate for Christians and Jews. No one could invent a more evil cult.

Although counter-intuitive...

It sure is. My fall back is this verse from Isaiah 5:20:

Woe to those who call evil good and good evil, who put darkness for light and light for darkness, who put bitter for sweet and sweet for bitter.

I'm going to endeavor to be on the Almighty's side - the rest can go to Hades - if I may borrow a word or two from Davey Crockett.

WE should be fighting with Russia. Why do I think that the only candidate who understands that is Trump? I have a sense that he would side with Putin, and form a coalition that would wipe the crap out of these Muslim basta*ds.

Why do you think the US, Europe, and Turkey are trying to oust Assad?

It is because the pipline that the Europeans want built that will run from Iran, Iraq and Saudi Arabia through Syria and Turkey. It will supply Europe with plenty of natural gas that will compete with Putin and GazProm. Putin is just trying to protect his market share so his buyers won’t go elsewhere.

It’s Obama’s covert war for oil, or in this case, natural gas.

That is correct, the gas supplier and prime mover is Qatar.

Putin is just trying to protect his market share so his buyers won't go elsewhere.

Again correct but Obama, the EU and the Homofascistas don't intend to ALLOW the European serfs the option to buy Russian gas if they can get their Qatari pipeline built. That's what Ukraine is all about, the Fascist control of the energy market, price, resources and private property in Europe/Ukraine.

It's Obama's covert (Fascist) war for oil, or in this case, natural gas.

It's what Obama always has been about.

You just hit the nail on the head.

Did the Turks recover the body from Turkey or Syria, or did they have their ISIS buddies get it for them?

That is interesting. Turkey admits that it trespassed into Syrian territory. Perhaps the Russians, operating legitimately in Syria at the invitation of the Syrian government, will defend Syria's territorial integrity against similar hostile encroachments in the future.

How many pilots do these planes have? We saw 2 parachutes, one guy walked away and is talking about it, one was killed as he parachuted, now another in the wreckage? This news media is a mess.
