His comments of the last few weeks have pulled back the curtain and, accordingly, he is sinking in the polls.

They’re boxed in. It’s going to be Trump or Cruz, barring some cataclysmic event. The Republican base has realized that most Republican politicians are on the same team as the Democrats.
I would agree with all that except that as a last resort I believe that over the last three weeks the GOPe also tried to drive up Cruz’s numbers and focus on him. There were numerous stories about how “Cruz can really win it.” Now, I believe he can win it-—but I don’t think that was the purpose of the stories. The only purpose of those stories was to derail Trump and Cruz was just next in line.

Trump is looking unbeatable at this point. Except for Iowa, I’m not seeing movement in Cruz’s numbers...nationally he’s stuck at 11% on average. Still early I guess, but my money is on Trump. Five months at number #1 hard to bet against him.
I like my US senators.
The GOPe is going to try to stink bomb Trump like Romney did to Newt in Fla in 2012. It worked on Newt. Hopefully most people will not buy into it on Trump.
Although I did hear that the Koch brothers had decided to sit it out for now.
IF Trump gets the nod, then all he has to do is show that clip from the first debate where everyone of them, except Trump vowed to support the eventual candidate. Play it over and over again and show the country what a bunch of liars they really are. That will be the end of most of their political careers. (I hope)

I want to do negative ads on John Kasich, but he’s so irrelevant to the race that I don’t want to waste my money.
Trump will withstand this assault because millions of people are there for him.
Once he shows he is tougher than the entire establishment he will have shown just how tough he is and definitely qualified to be president.
If I were his opposition I would be terrified of the Trump payback. going to be ugly,ugly,ugly.
The media seems enamored with Hillary which is beyond all comprehension to me. The thought of her being able to go toe to toe with any of the GOP candidates in a debate (except maybe Jeb and Kasich) makes as much sense as free health care.
