I met a friend at a spanish language course in the 90s who had lived in Saudi Arabia in the 80s. This was before Khobar Towers and she said she always felt safe while they lived there.

I wonder what percentage of people can’t be bought or threatened with death (clinton reputation) and would be able to head the department of injustice? I haven’t checked the history of the dept or if the founders debated it being an elected position vs appointed. people are so fallen.

There have been a few good folks, some ex-military, who get to DC as congressmen. The money and power go to their heads and they get caught up in scandals. As Republicans, they get busted where as the Democrats are immune from prosecution in the media, which is pretty much all they matters nowadays.
