Putin said to be 'fully mobilized' as Turkey sends rebels arms

President Vladimir Putin is fully mobilized to tackle what the Kremlin regards as an unprecedented threat from Turkey following the shooting down of one of its warplanes by a Turkish F-16, the Russian leader's spokesman said on Saturday.

In comments which underscore how angry the Kremlin still is over the incident, Dmitry Peskov, Putin's spokesman, called the behavior of the Turkish air force "absolute madness" and said Ankara's subsequent handling of the crisis had reminded him of the "theater of the absurd."

"Nobody has the right to traitorously shoot down a Russian plane from behind," Peskov told Russia's "News on Saturday" TV program, calling Turkish evidence purporting to show the Russian SU-24 jet had violated Turkish air space "cartoons".

A good time to throw Turkey out of NATO.

If the allegations are correct that Turkey - or at least the president and his family - have an oil deal with ISIS, should Turkey be allowed to stay in NATO?

Gosh, I WONDER if the US should be in NATO, as long as a NATO member openly sponsors ISIS.

Nah, hey THAT doesn’t pose any problem, now does it..?

At the very least censure the traitor erdogan. He dismissed the results of the most recent election because he didn’t like the results. He held a special election shortly after where he somehow won after the initial defeat. He is dismissing the secularists in the government in favor of radicals and supporting terrorism outside of their borders. Very much like another player in the game, he needs to be removed.

ISIS massacred Turkmen.

“UN: ISIS Massacred 700 Turkmen—Including Women, Children, Elderly”

http://www.cnsnews.com/news/article/lauretta-brown/un-isis-massacred-700-turkmen-including-women-children-elderly

You’ll find a lot of articles on this too, ISIS did this to the Yeshidis too.

So, perhaps we are back to those who say Russia is not really fighting ISIS or not that much.

Angry exchange of words in public between two governments gets more press.

I would say they are two different sorts of anger. One is personal, the other is not.

Why? Because Putin is attacking them?

Nope...Because these so called rebels are affiliated with Al Qaeda, ISIS, the muzlim brotherhood who all have and will kill and rape Christians, Jews and Americans at every given opportunity...

These terrorists are America's enemies, NOT our allies...

The Europeans contribute very little to NATO, except land to be protected. Perhaps Turkey considers it compensation for doing more than their part for NATO.

Not that I like Turkey, but they would be more help militarily to the US than Europe. Actually Europe as we have known it, may not even exist in the not-to-distant future. At the moment it is also dead weight for NATO. NATO may have to be dismantled and something else formed.

Erdogan’s son Bilal also needs to watch his back. I hope he has top notch personal security. Putin could take care of this problem in KGB style.

No, because Turkey has always had an Islamic streak.

Yep - even when Bush began the "war on terror", he had to do some behind the scenes arm twisting to get Turkey to "help" (stay out of the way)....
