Karl Rove says Donald Trump may very well win the 2016 Republican presidential nomination.
But the influential GOP consultant and policy adviser, in an exclusive interview with Newsmax TV, adds the billionaire developer's acidic attacks on his fellow candidates could hurt his chances.
"He's taken the lead - took the lead in July and held it. He's got a chance to win the nomination," Rove said Wednesday on "Newsmax Prime" with J.D. Hayworth.
"His challenge is, he's created a high floor, but a low ceiling. It's sort of hard to grow when you've taken on the habit of excoriating everybody else in the race calling them 'losers' and 'clowns' and 'morons' and personally belittling them."

When I first started listening to Hannity, I got the immediate impression that him and Rice are bosom buddies. Sean Hannity puts Karl Rove on a pedestal. I stopped listening after that.

No one with an inkling of a functioning brain, a sense of the real world, and a keen eye & ear on politics, listens to any word that Karl Rove utters!!! He has become the “Dick Morris” & “Debbie Wasserman Schultz” combined, of the 2016 election cycle!!! Both idiots & losers!!! LMAO!!!
I’ve been here a while. I remember people here calling this pig the “Magnificent Bastard” upon engineering the re-election of George W. Bush. I’m kind of ashamed of it all actually. My eyes certainly weren’t open to the deception, money and power-grubbing behind it all.
Neither was I completely aware of W’s total disregard for the economy and his post 9/11 actions in creating the DHS, the TSA and fostering an attitude that allowed the NSA and God knows who else to completely ignore the rights of decent Americans in the conduct of their daily lives. In the end, that ‘regime’ (that includes Rove still today) ushered Obama into the White House on the plushest red carpet one could imagine.
In my advancing years I can only hope the bacon and cholesterol-laden foodstuffs this pig consumes coat his arteries with plaque and grime enough to stroke his pampered ass out for the duration.
