Used to be paradise.
There must be plenty to go around because I haven’t seen their numbers drop in NYC.
North Shore of Staten Island used to be mostly Italian and beautiful 50 years ago. Then Johnson invented projects and the Italians left and moved to the south shore.
Guess what the north shore is like now?
Used to be paradise.
Metastatic Section 8. It's happening in lots of places. Just yesterday we drove past a group of apartments that were built in the late 1950's and which have - or, rather, HAD - been unusually well-kept and orderly up to a few years ago. It now looks like all hell has broken loose.

Same story where ever these “resettlement” projects surface. If “Black Lives Matter” why do the blacks do NOTHING to improve their way of life when it is handed to them on a platter? It doesn’t take a lot of effort to keep things orderly.
Key words: It doesn’t take a lot of effort.
Applies everywhere.
When I lived in innercity New Orleans, the inability of the natives to master the art of proper garbage disposal was baffling. Trash in sacks and cardboard boxes, spilled all over the street—where it remained for weeks.
Every day after work I’d walk the block, picking up trash.
The no-car poor would “borrow” grocery buggies to transport their purchases, and then shove the buggy into the street. Kids would play with them.
I’d call the supermarket repeatedly to come get them. Went to Council meetings to get ordinances changed, requiring markets to have locking buggies that couldn’t leave the parking lots.
The city increased fees and provided “automated” garbage pickup, with mechanized trucks and special receptacles designed to work with the truck
provided for “free.”
Within a year, the garbage cans’ wheels and lids were busted off and the cans were upended in ditches. Of course, trash was still strewn in the streets.
I briefly managed some apartments. Tenants complained about bugs, when they had rotting garbage under the sink. One section 8 tenant told me it was MY job to take out her garbage, because SHE was paying me!
When I told her no, it was HER job to put out her garbage, she lodged a complaint with the owner.
Inner city blacks are our version of Palestinians.
Absolutely no way of reasoning with them, they will remain ignorant forever, and will vote for the worst of the worst.
By choice...with pride.
