The Democrats’ Death Wish: The Disappearing Destiny of the Donkey Party
Breitbart ^ | November 27, 2015 | Virgil

Posted on 11/27/2015 11:44:36 PM PST by Cincinatus' Wife

...........Yes, everything is different, now, for elite Democrats.

As we have seen, they are inspired by the EU. And as we have also seen, they no longer worry about worker's wages-and that only makes sense, because the two big magnetic poles of the new Democratic coalition, Al Sharpton and George Soros, are both oblivious to wages. Why? Because Sharpton's core constituents aren't in the workforce; they make their living through welfare, not work. And as for Soros and his fellow billionaires, they couldn't be bothered to think about anything as microscopic as a mere wage. Meanwhile, Democratic politicos believe that if they just get the immigrant ranks big enough, they can get the Democratic vote big enough.

In addition, top Democrats are constantly being egged on in their liberalism by the trendoids of the MSM. NBC's Seth Meyers, for example, laughed in Sarah Palin's face when she expressed concerns about Syrian refugees. And that mocking moment led to a media cascade of condescension and ridicule: Yahoo News headlined, "Seth Meyers explains Syrian refugee vetting process to Sarah Palin," and Salon chortled, "Wow, Seth Meyers just stripped down Donald Trump's lies and Islamophobia so clearly even your racist uncle will get it now."

Meanwhile, New York magazine's Jonathan Chait, not be outdone, referred to Donald Trump's anti-immigration supporters as "knuckle-draggers," adding that Trump himself was the natural leader of "lizard-brain America." Got that? That's you Chait is talking about.

In this sort of supercharged media environment, it's easy to see how Democratic pols, who might normally be more careful, have lost their heads. Instead of showing the usual mumble-mouthed caution, top Dems are joining in the bashing of Middle America-aka, the very swing voters they will need if they are to win the White House and Congress next year........

Jonathan Chait:
Terrorism in the age of Trump: How American nationalism has mutated and turned inward since 9/11

Jonathan Chait:
There are just a lot of people out there exerting significant influence over the political debate who are totally unqualified. The dilemma is especially acute in the political economic field, where wealthy right-wingers have pumped so much money to subsidize the field of pro-rich people polemics that the demand for competent defenders of letting rich people keep as much of their money as possible vastly outstrips the supply. Hence the intellectual marketplace for arguments that we should tax rich people less is glutted with hackery.

Jonathan Chait lives in Washington, D.C. and is married to Robin Chait, formerly an education-policy analyst at the Center for American Progress think tank.

I think that he is similar to someone who hates his life, job, can do little about it, comes home and beats his wife and kids.

In my scenario, we, this country, are his wife and kids.

yes. something bad in childhood and teen years,

not being raised by mom AND pop is always tough, Perhaps it didn’t go so well for him.

my pop died when i was 15 and I had trouble several years after but a GREAT big Italian family for support and turned out fine.

I don’t think this hot mess did.

And his disdain for white folk clearly shows up in speeches as recently as 10 years ago.

The Open Borders Uniparty crowd has powerful patrons and they want a world where the nation-state is a thing of the past and capital and labor can flow freely.

They’re found in both parties and for them the preservation of America is not their aspiration. They want to turn this country into a bigger, kinder and gentler version of the European Union.

For 2016, the open question is whether the American people are ready to relegate America as we have known it to the past. The next year will tell the tale.

Feh. If and when he goes, he’ll have more “flexibility” as a “community organizer.” Or, incitement to riot as they used to call the crime.

It was a good piece, but the author makes a most annoying error when he says that Peter Falk’s Columbo character was a NYC detective, he was from Los Angeles and anyone who ever watched that show even once should know that.

it doesn’t make sense. but you’re right.

still, obummer has taken things to a whole new level.

at least carter wasn’t a complicit traitor, just an antisemitic moron. which is bad enough.

he’s just lucky that so many white people are idiots.

Now you understand the importance of (former Communist Electricians' Union agitprop writer) Betty Friedan and her prolefeed, stirring up women voters against Old American values, using housewifely home-issue discontents to topple a republic and turn latterday suffragettes into raging, man-hating Communist shock troops.

Before Friedan, men went to college if they could to get a B.A. or B.S. degree, and women, if they attended, went for a B.A. or B. Ed., and an MRS degree, or so the joke went.

After Friedan, millions of women shunned men, went to grad school, and got M.A. degrees in DemonRat societal fragmentation studies.

The white, under 50 women are killing us.

FReepers excepted of course.

Romney lost by 12 percent among women and won by 8 percent among men.

that’s the whole story.

Throw in that the dem starts out with 13 percent (black block vote) and things get tough without a solidified white vote.

I dont want the country broken racially like that, but them’s the facts.

I Just read up on the lady you mention. Boy, is she hard to look at. No wonder she turned to feminism, whatever that word means, and communism.

How does a Free country attract so many communists? where do they come from and why did they come here?

Ah, I know my own people were socialist and anarchist in big numbers at first. I’m Italian. But they are now a pretty solid republican voting block.

Maybe they came from Russia? I dont know,

One website about her went off the deep end and threw in the Illuminati and the world government with her :)

BTW, your post was hysterical, informative and TRUE.

Her Wikipedia bio has been scrubbed by Leftists; you may have found the conservative site that has "the rest of the story".

I once read an autobiographical article by her, 40 years ago or more, in one of the women's magazines my friends took: either Ladies' Home Journal or Ms. She lied like a rug. Lied like a dog. Lied like a dog lying on a rug, with fleas. I took it personally, so I remembered her article when other people started turning over the rocks in her past, and Communists started crawling out.

She's one of the biggest cockroaches in American political history, and her purposes were pure malevolence.

I'll have to search Venona and Ann Coulter, see if Friedan's name comes up in the stuff from the late 40's.

Very eye opening. From the little I read, and I will read more, she had a maid and wasn’t much of a housewife.

Husband gave her a 2 on scale of 10.

Messed up childhood was her problem, it seems.

I know several people (since i’ve worked in NYC) that were avowed communists. Families almost always dysfunctional.

But they lived in great neighborhoods, made a ton of money and sent their kids to private school.

communism for thee, but nor for we.

I think the Baby Boomer Generation is the only thing holding back the flood gates to keep this nation from becoming another “Liberal Bastion” like Europe. When my generation is gone............ IT’S OVER!
