From the article:

Yes, the GOPe has disgusted their "base" badly enough that many conservatives have changed their voter registration from Republican to Independent. By doing so, if you live in a closed primary state (they are listed - just do a search for them online), and you want to vote for Ted Cruz, Trump or Carson, YOU WILL NOT BE ABLE TO VOTE FOR THEM IN THE REPUBLICAN PRESIDENTIAL PRIMARY if you live in a closed primary state. You will NOT get a voting ballot because you are not registered as a Republican. So, you MUST contact your voter registrar in the county you reside in the "closed" primary state you live in and CHANGE FROM INDEPENDENT to REPUBLICAN. I did this online at my county's Website of my closed primary state. You can also go to the county registrar's office and make the change. The GOPe are fully aware that many Republicans have changed their "party" affiliation to Independent because of the traitorous actions of the GOPe. They ARE COUNTING on you not being able to vote in the primary for Trump or Cruz because you are no longer registered Republican. So - MAKE THE CHANGE BACK TO REPUBLICAN ASAP! You can always change back after the 2016 elections. DO IT!

If I'm not mistaken, in most states because of "motor voter" laws, political affiliation is controlled by the state's DMV. Last year while renewing my drivers license in Florida there was a section offering the option to change political affiliation. In order to do so, however, the state charged a hefty FEE!!! So this is a potentially deadly tactic, the total nefariousness of which has not yet been disclosed.

Trump’s campaign operatives in closed primary states need to hear about this if they haven’t already so they can mount a legal objection and defense and use the courts to kill it. This is so transparently obstructive. Go Trump!

Why the hell is Cruz mentioned in the headline? Ted would never split the GOP vote that way. (He intends to TAKE it from within! Hah!)

In Duval County, all one has to do is go to their local Supervisor of Elections Office and fill out a little card. I know nothing of doing it at the DMV.

No. That’s a bunch of BS.

You change parties by submitting a form to the supervisor of elections in your county. There is no fee.

This is who the GOP establishment wants us to worship?

Mitch McConnell, who was thrown out of the US military for sexually assaulting a fellow make soldier, and Paul Ryan, who authored legislation in 2013 to cut the pensions of military who served 20+ years (including 100% disabled veterans who lost limbs in combat?)

These two "leaders" are a disgrace!

The GOP has been rudderless for years now. When will they wake up?

I continue to believe that John Ellis Bush will be Hillary’s running mate.

I’ve sid this for at least two years, but as the probability of a rogue GOP nominee increases, so does the probability of a split.

If Trump, or possibly Cruz, becomes the nominee, I expect a “national salvation” movement to be ginned up by Karl Rove, Paul Singer, and others to “prevent the destruction of everything we (GOPe) have worked for since 1945” to develop.

George HW Bush, Bob Dole, Mitch McConnell, John Sununu and others will let it be known that, if Hillary agrees to run with John Ellis that she will have their support. As Little Marco fades, he will get on board. If Mitt Romney is not running himself by then, he will bring his Mormon power structure on board.

Be ready. It’s going to be a wild ride.

I just had my three kids fill out voter registration forms to change their party affiliation and there was no fee.

This is the main reason I didn’t change my registration to independent.

It is a very good thing to be on guard and not under estimate the levels the GOPe will go to in order to stop Trump; but this will fail too. Those who are no longer Republicans as I am, will find their vote off set by those who stayed. It is always a zero sum game. In winner take all states so even if only 100 people vote in the whole state the guy who gets the most votes in a crowded field wins. This is where Trump turns the tables on the GOPe’s strategy of “spliters.” Let them fool themselves getting Bush his 5 % that will only make Trump’s job easier by having to get fewer votes to come out on top.

I guess they can try, but unless they’re willing to send me to Australia or something (and pay for it) during my 2 weeks of early voting, they will not have much luck stopping this FReeper from voting for Trump (or Cruz, if Trump is gone).

CLOSED PRIMARY STATES INCLUDE:
Alaska, Arizona, California, Connecticut, Washington DC, Delaware, Florida, Hawaii, Iowa, Idaho, Kansas, Kentucky, Louisiana, Maryland, Maine, Michigan, Montana, North Dakota, New Mexico, New York, Oklahoma, Oregon, Pennsylvania, Washington State, Wyoming.

That’s 24 states and DC.

https://grassrootsidgop.wordpress.com/list-of-states-with-open-and-closed-primaries/

http://www.thegreenpapers.com/P16/FL-R

Observing the fraud that McConnell, Cochran and Barbour pulled in Mississippi against tea party conservative Chris McDaniel, one must also be on the alert for open primary states where the GOPe can pay democrats to crossover to vote for a republican to ensure a conservative is defeated.

Some democrats, or more accurately leftists, in a red state will register as republicans (or independent as the rules allow) so that they can vote for the weaker or less conservative republican. This is how McCain keeps winning the GOP primary in AZ senate races and because AZ is a red state, he keeps getting elected.

Great post, you sound like a Howie Carr listener ;-). I have been saying since Sept 12' the DNC's candidate would be Chris Christy, so we are not that far off the only difference is about 100 lbs, they are both screaming RINO's...
