To be fair, on the surface, Turkey's president is fully involved in the fight against ISIS. In October he allowed U.S. jets to use Turkey's Incirlik air base for operations against ISIS, pledging that his forces, too, would join the fight.
But the truth is that Turkey's planes have aimed their missiles almost exclusively at the one army which poses a real threat to ISIS, and has won countless battlefield victories against them -- the Kurdish PKK forces inside Syria.
The trouble is that Erdogan, who has spent years ruthlessly concentrating power into his own hands, considers the Kurds an even greater threat to his nation than ISIS.

I read this story earlier and was saying in another thread that Obama'a pet puppet is running his playbook of Fundamental Transformation on Turkey.
If even a fraction of this article is true then Erdogan will be Erdogone in a perfect storm of uneasy Turkish Military and Kurdish and Russian and Syrian cooperation. And boy, that will be sweet pain for Dumbo. More gray hair and a nervous breakdown for us to enjoy.
Bammy is truly earning his peace prize buy uniting all these disparate factions into ad hoc alliances against him and his puppets. I mean, breaking Iraq and Syria creating refugees and ISIS and then letting it gestate and attack Europe is now uniting the various nationalist parties and the average citizens. Bammy may actually have crippled the EU, certainly Merkel. Can't wait to see what comes from his Iran deal. Israel, Saudi and Jordan doing lunch and then holding hands and then ... we'll see.
