A bunch of people were shocked to find out over Thanksgiving dinner that members of their family support Donald Trump for president.
The support for the real estate billionaire shouldn't be a surprise to anyone paying attention to the presidential race so far. According to Real Clear Politics, Trump has the support of nearly 28 percent of registered Republicans in an average of recent national polls. Retired neurosurgeon Ben Carson sits in second place with just under 20 percent.
But perhaps those who lamented their pro-Trump relatives on Twitter thought that it was other peoples' families that are supporting the reality TV star.

Have you done a news search for articles mentioning that Cruz was discussed over TG dinner?
Well, considering your conspiracy theory that the press is pumping Trump and ignoring Cruz, let me ask a different question.
Have you done a Twitter search of people talking about Cruz over TG dinner. The msm doesn’t control twitter, its customers’s tweets, and its search engine.
I have bad news for you: although you suspect the msm is ignoring Ted Cruz, actual living breathing people are truly ignoring Cruz on twitter. No one has tweeted they discussed Cruz over TG dinner.
No one.
Whereas there are many people on Twitter who cared enough to tweet they discussed Trump over their TG dinners.
