Russia Releases Video Of S-400 SAM Deployment In Syria, As Putin Issues Warning To Obama
Zerohedge ^ | 11-26-2015 | Durden

"The S-400 is an air defense system.

The reason we didn't have the system in Syria is because we thought our planes were flying at high enough altitudes where a terrorist could not reach them, they don't have weapons capable of downing our planes at the altitude of over 3 or 4 thousand meters.

And We could never think that we could be stabbed in the back by a country we regarded as our ally. Our planes operated at altitudes of 5-6,000 meters and were completely unprotected against potential attacks from fighter jets. We could never imagine that that could be possible otherwise we would deploy such systems in the area protecting our bombers against possible attacks.

We never did it because we regarded Turkey as our friend, we never expected an attack from that side.

This is why we regard this attack as that of a traitor. But now we that this is possible, and we have to protect our planes. This is why we deployed a modern system, the S-400, it has a pretty long range and it's one of the most effective systems of this kind in the world. We will not stop there. If we have to we will also deploy our fighter jets in the area.

Bottom line:

Another direct engagement by a Turkish fighter will be its last, and in fact now that Russia is prepared we would not be at all surprised to see Russia cross into Turkish airspace on purpose just to provoke Erdogan to repeat the events from last week, only this time with the Russian ready and prepared to retaliate to any engagement. In fact, the odds of Russia doing just that in the next few days are especially high.

But while the reason behind the S-400 deployment was largely known to most, where Putin's press conference took an unexpected detour was what he said just around 20:30 in, when in not so many words, Putin effectively accused the US of leaking the coordinates of the Russian plane to Turkey, which was merely a hitman acting with the blessing of the Pentagon.

This is what Putin said:

"We told our US partners in advance where, when at what altitudes our pilots were going to operate.

The US-led coalition, which includes Turkey, was aware of the time and place where our planes would operate.

And this is exactly where and when we were attacked. Why did we share this information with the Americans? Either they don't control their allies, or they just pass this information left and right without realizing what the consequences of such actions might be. We will have to have a serious talk with our US partners."

Putin's statement during the Hollande Presser earlier today.

A pretty clear accusation. And a pretty clear message to Obama and Erdogan. Are they listening?

They’re listening for that ‘most beautiful sound in the world’, the daily call to prayer for Islamofascists everywhere.

This is a sign of an assault from hell. Those who would fight it, can’t agree, because of their own handicapping biases and allegiances that they deem even more important.

This isn’t going to be pretty and ISIS will be laughing its arse off.

NATO should expel Turkey. It is an Islamist state. Erdogan profits from reselling ISIS oil production.

I’m still intrigued by the Russian MoD statement today that,

“Terrorists and “other mysterious groups” with “special purpose locators” to find the pilot were eliminated by Russian airstrikes and Syrian artillery.”

WHO were they?

Live and learn, as I wouldn’t trust a good (m)uslim in an empty basement. A bad one who concludes that his religion is a piece of crap and has seen the light, maybe.

WHY is Turkey a member of NATO, anyway? It might have made sense during the Cold War to have a place convenient for spying on the USSR, but we probably have much better methods today for spying on the Russians. Who needs them? Besides they’re almost 2,000 miles away from the North Atlantic! ;)

Followed by Christians expelling the muslims from Constantinople.

According to the CIA World Factbook, Turkey is "99.8% Mooselimb (mostly Sunni)".

It's been a long time since Ataturk. Turkey needs to be taught that there is a high cost for opposing Christianity, Orthodox or otherwise!

Not sure why Russians killing terrorists’s is considered evil at all. By anyone. Turkey is a long time terror supporting country. Would you care to tell me why destroying evil is somehow evil?

Or is this merely another of your failed attempts to try and ‘get me’ on my intolerance of ‘lesser evil’ voting?

They can oppose, from Saudi Arabia, Iran or any other traditional muslim hellhole all they want. Once they resort to violence/terror to ‘enforce’ it though, they should be glassed.

We used to have dictators like the Shah and Pinochet and people said it was bad. Then we put on democracy and let islam do its things, and people said it was bad. Now Russia is blessed in keeping its own dictators.

In other words, people supporting Putin are getting either manipulated or do not realize the kind of extremely dangerous maneuver of submission they are accepting under Putin.

Americans should not be fighting Russians. Americans and Russians should be crushing Islam!

Details, such as whether Assad should be deposed or left in power or the extent to which Turkey should be punished, can be worked out.

Actually we simply see that natural order is reasserting itself after dormancy under liberal governance.

What Russia does in it’s hemisphere is between Russia and the people on that side of the pond to work out amongst themselves. The only people manipulated/doing the manipulating are those trying to stop terrorists from being killed via pacifist BS.

Putin is what Putin is. Until he flies Bears and Blackjecks here and bombs us, what he does to terrorists is his concern. We can applaud him when he does the correct thing.
