This Thanksgiving, President Obama is calling for Americans to lend a helping hand to another group of pilgrims fleeing persecution.
"Nearly four centuries after the Mayflower set sail, the world is still full of pilgrims - men and women who want nothing more than the chance for a safer, better future for themselves and their families," Obama said in his weekly address Thursday. "What makes America America is that we offer that chance."

I’m descendant of Elder Wm. Brewster. I, too, find Zero’s existence, and every statement he makes, to be offensive.
The Pilgrims came here to escape religious persecution and to live in peace. The Syrians are coming to participate in religious persecution so that we can no longer live in peace.
Is there no end to what this Muslim president will do to offend Americans? He knows better; he’s just stirring up things as part of his Community Organizer job.
Yeah...and look what happened to the tribe that allowed the Pilgrims refugee status.
A Happy Thanksgiving to one and all. Don’t pay any attention to this POS narcissistic little prick of a president. Despite it’s problem’s America is still the greatest country in the world. Be thankful your ancestors caught the boat. I’m sure glad mine did. And be thankful for our young men and women serving all over the world today, standing a post to keep us safe and keep our enemies awake at night. And remember too those friends and loved ones who can only be with us in spirit. Miss you so much Mom. And to that certain relative of one annoying stripe or another who’ll be at the table today be thankful the Good Lord didn’t make you them.
If by similar he means that the Syrians intend to import their religious and political views to a new land under the protection of a sovereign seeking an empire, then he is correct.

Oh yeah, now I remember reading in my history books how, upon arrival, the Indians provided the Pilgrims with free/subsidize housing, health benefits, a monthly stipend, an Obama phone, free education...

The difference is that that the Pilgrims came here to AVOID religious persecution —— while the Muslim refu-jihadists are coming here to PRACTICE it.
BO taints our precious Pilgrims with the filth of islamic terrorists. Any chance he gets to voice his contempt for the American story, he will take it.

Now by the ship taken by the Turks...all trade was dead.”
Muslim pirates of Morocco raided European coasts and carried away over a million to the North African slave markets, where also tens of millions of Africans were sold into slavery...
