What he says is true for someone living in France.
They only see movies about the defensive value of guns.
Which is why they need to change their damn gun laws.
To: Afterguard
Uh, are there some belligerent attack turkeys on the approach? LOL! Have a great Thanksgiving and don’t forget to talk about guns at the feed trough as requested by the white house.

Don’t worry Mr. Ambassador, if you are in our neck of the woods and the jihadies attack, we’ll protect ya.

So the French Resistance in WWII was a myth.
People, in general, are inclined to defend themselves. Better tools equal better defense.

Great post, that (#3). It pretty much gives a complete picture. Type A has been referenced to death around here. We all need to consider, and respect, those type B folks as well.
P.S. Did you match those two pictures yourself? If so, well done!

How we can protect our families? Keep ISIS and Obama Syrians out of America, now.
If that fails, we will use our 2nd amendment rights:

You’re much more charitable than we are. If he was in our neighborhood and the jihadis attacked I’d shoot him first.
Why?
Because I can’t trust him to be behind me. He might try to hurt me so I don’t hurt his precious peaceful jihadis.

Does anyone know where to get the firearm bumper sticker? Is there one? I’ve seen it here many times but never in “real” life. Me likey. If I had any weapons, they’d all(?) be in the safe getting along just fine. Some of them might even share their ‘feed’ with one another.

I guess M. Araud never heard about the French Revolution.
Or perhaps he now pretends that his “aristocratic” ancestors never met Madame Guillotine,,,,

The French Ambassador should check Youtube , plenty of Criminals get a big surprise when the victim pulls a gun and shoots them in the face

I think the boy has watched too many movies. He’s out of touch with what is going on in real life.

Mr. Ambassador, if it wasn't for armed Americans who know the difference between the movies and real life, and who know perfectly well how to defend themselves, you would be reporting to Vichy and Berlin instead of Paris.
To: Vinnie
Sweet wasn’t it. Did he also present him a little miniature white flag? Maybe I missed that part.

I’ve never liked crowds and am acutely aware of how helpless they make an individual. Its even worse inside a contained space. In my youth I used to go to clubs like this but always found a spot by the wall within a few steps of an emergency exit. Emergency exits usually can’t be opened from the outside so there are no surprises there.
Situational awareness.
