Retired FBI Agent: Bureau received ‘stacks of reports’ of calls of Muslims celebrating
ABC NEWS WISCONSIN ^ | November 25, 2015 | Bill Riales

One retired FBI agent says Donald Trump's claims of seeing Muslim celebrations following the attacks on 9-11 are absolutely plausible.

Jim Burkett was an assistant special agent in charge with the FBI's office in Boston during 9-11 and afterward. He says during that time the office received tons of phone calls from people who feared more attacks and others reporting suspicious activity.

Many of those calls, said Burkett, came from concerned and angry Americans reporting Muslim's celebrating over the destruction of the twin towers and damage to the Pentagon. The calls were logged, reports were made and there were "stacks and stacks" of them, he said.

Burkett says somebody in the office began labeling them "Happy Muslim Calls". Most of the calls he said were deemed unimportant and the agency didn't see fit to initiate investigations.

But the retired agent says even though video of celebrations following 9-11 is hard to find, he says it means Trump's claims are highly plausible.

City E-mail Endorses Terrorism
By Tim Fleck
Thursday, November 1, 2001 | 14 years ago

On September 12, almost exactly 24 hours after terrorists slammed hijacked jets into the World Trade Center and the Pentagon, an accountant in the Houston city controller’s office sat at his keyboard and typed a gloating e-mail to a friend in the city legal department.
advertisement

“What’s your take on this bombing?” asked the sender, a slight 30-year-old man of Pakistani descent. He went on to offer his view:

“I say it’s great and wonderful and probably the best thing I’ve seen in my life.

“The world got what it deserved.

“Persons are rotten, evil, and thrash [sic] so this is what happens when they act like that and I hope a full scale war breaks out over this.”

The author got his wish and more. As military action raged later in Afghanistan, his leaked e-mail provoked a bureaucratic battle at City Hall that led to his resignation. After the worker left, superiors found that his computer contained prurient e-mails suggesting he had solicited and purchased sexual favors from a female legal department secretary.

Although the recipient of the original e-mail was his confidante, she found the terrorism message alarming enough to turn it over to her supervisor, Connie Acosta, the section chief of the department’s labor division. And there the matter apparently rested for two weeks, until a staffer for Controller Sylvia Garcia was forwarded a copy of the e-mail and alerted her boss.

“I was very offended by it,” recalls Garcia. “I thought it was sentiments of hate that, particularly when written the morning after such a tragic event, were very offensive and inappropriate for an employee of the city, being done on city time and using city property.”

Top controller officials were stunned that in the heightened security following the attacks, Acosta had not bothered to alert them or City Attorney Anthony Hall about the e-mail.

“You can’t print my reaction,” says Garcia. “I was very disappointed in the lack of any response from anyone in legal, and the fact they didn’t bother to tell us even though it was one of our own employees.”...

Barack Obama’s “former muslim” mentor, Jeremiah Wright, proclaimed that “chickens came home to roost” (we deserved it).

Ward Churchill wrote such agitprop as well.

The hateful rhetoric of the militant Left is supposed to be ignored and forgotten.

“He says during that time the office received tons of phone calls from people who feared more attacks and others reporting suspicious activity.”

The president with no credibility told us that there is no credible threat from Islamic terrorist this weekend. He also said that we should still be aware and if we see something suspicious we should report it. What, so he can heckle the callers as being islamophobes picking on some sort of child prodigy clock scientist?

exactly, and also from the schedule of attacks planned for Trump in the coming days, I think each one of these little gems has to be knocked down hard, or they will have an accumulative effect.

A day or two after the attack and everyone had their flags at half-mast. I drove by a nearby KFC and their flag was at the top. I pulled into the lot and went inside. A woman with the head cover on and a dark-skinned man were behind the counter. I asked them to put their flag at half-mast. They spoke broken English and got some words and motioned that it was broken and they couldn’t.

I walked around back and lowered it with no problem.

Got back in my truck, and then called the FBI number that had been shown on TV.

I see all this anecdotal evidence everywhere, which of course can't be verified for many reasons, but I am thinking maybe Trump has brought something to the surface again that should have been talked about a long time ago. The amount of PC surrounding this topic is almost impenetrable.

The FBI agent in the article says there were "stacks and stacks" of calls in his one local office in Boston. If that was happening in Boston, can you imagine what it was like in Jersey, much nearer to NYC ?

Barack Obama's 'former muslim' mentor, Jeremiah Wright

The Real Story Behind Rev. Wright's Controversial Black Liberation Theology Doctrine
Monday , May 5, 2008
FoxNews/Hannity's America
[special Friday night edition--original airdate May 2, 2008]

(some key excerpts)

JOSE DIAZ-BALART, TELEMUNDO NETWORK: "Liberation theology in Nicaragua in the mid-1980's was a pro-Sandinista, pro-Marxist, anti-U.S., anti-Catholic Church movement. That's it. No ifs, ands, or buts. His church apparently supported, in the mid-'80s in Nicaragua, groups that supported the Sandinista dictatorships and that were opposed to the Contras whose reason for being was calling for elections. That's all I know. I was there.

I saw the churches in Nicaragua that he spoke of, and the churches were churches that talked about the need for violent revolution and I remember clearly one of the major churches in Managua where the Jesus Christ on the altar was not Jesus Christ, he was a Sandinista soldier, and the priests talked about the corruption of the West, talked about the need for revolution everywhere, and talked about 'the evil empire' which was the United States of America."

REV. BOB SCHENCK, NATIONAL CLERGY COUNCIL: "it's based in Marxism. At the core of his [Wright's] theology is really an anti-Christian understanding of God, and as part of a long history of individuals who actually advocate using violence in overthrowing those they perceive to be oppressing them, even acts of murder have been defended by followers of liberation theology. That's very, very dangerous."

SCHENCK: "I was actually the only person escorted to Dr. Wright. He asked to see me, and I simply welcomed him to Washington, and then I said Dr. Wright, I want to bring you a warning: your embrace of Marxist liberation theology. It is contrary to the Gospel, and you need, sir, to abandon it. And at that he dropped the handshake and made it clear that he was not in the mood to dialogue on that point."

Obama's Church: Gospel of Hate
Kathy Shaidle, FrontPageMag.com
Monday, April 07, 2008

In March of 2007, FOX News host Sean Hannity had engaged Obama's pastor in a heated interview about his Church's teachings. For many viewers, the ensuing shouting match was their first exposure to "Black Liberation Theology"...

Like the pro-communist Liberation Theology that swept Central America in the 1980s and was repeatedly condemned by Pope John Paul II, Black Liberation Theology combines warmed-over 1960s vintage Marxism with carefully distorted biblical passages. However, in contrast to traditional Marxism, it emphasizes race rather than class. The Christian notion of "salvation" in the afterlife is superseded by "liberation" on earth, courtesy of the establishment of a socialist utopia.

Catholics for Marx [Liberation Theology]
By Fr. Robert Sirico
FrontPageMagazine.com | Thursday, June 03, 2004

In the days when the Superpowers were locked in a Cold War, Latin America seethed with revolution, and millions lived behind an iron curtain, a group of theologians concocted a novel idea within the history of Christianity. They proposed to combine the teachings of Jesus with the teachings of Marx as a way of justifying violent revolution to overthrow the economics of capitalism.

The Gospels were re-rendered not as doctrine impacting on the human soul but rather as windows into the historical dialectic of class struggle. These "liberation theologians" saw every biblical criticism of the rich as a mandate to expropriate the expropriating owners of capital, and every expression of compassion for the poor as a call for an uprising by the proletarian class of peasants and workers.

Re: James Cone, founder of "Black Liberation Theology":

SEAN HANNITY: But Reverend Jeremiah Wright is not backing down and has not for years and in his strong stance on the teaching of black liberation theology is nothing new. He had the same things to say last spring when he appeared on "Hannity & Colmes:"

WRIGHT: If you're not going to talk about theology in context, if you're not going to talk about liberation theology that came out of the '60s, systematized black liberation theology that started with Jim Cone in 1968 and the writings of Cone and the writings of Dwight Hopkins and the writings of womynist theologians and Asian theologians and Hispanic theologians, then you can't talk about the black value system.

HANNITY: But I'm a - reverend

WRIGHT: Do you know liberation theology, sir?

Liberation Theology and the KGB

Jay Richards | February 2, 2010

The presence of Marxism in liberation theology is well-known, at least to seminarians who are critical readers. Practically every seminarian reads Gustavo Gutierrez's Theology of Liberation at some point, but most laypeople find it hard to believe that there could have been (and continues to be) a widespread attempt to hybridize Christian theology and Marxism.

Marxist regimes obviously benefited from the spread of liberation theology in the churches. Still, I was not aware of any connections between liberation theology and communist clandestine organizations until now.

A new article by Robert D. Chapman in the International Journal of Intelligence and Counterintelligence begins to connect some dots. In "The Church in Revolution," Chapman, "a retired operations officer in the Clandestine Services Division of the Central Intelligence Agency," argues that the KGB infiltrated the Russian Orthodox Church through Metropolitan Nikodim, the Russian Orthodoxy's second-ranking prelate. Nikodim was a proponent of liberation theology. Nikodim was active in the otherwise-Protestant World Council of Churches. And the WCC, of course, became an actively left-wing organization during the last half of the 20th century.

Chapman also details the growth of liberation theology in Latin America-and the Vatican's struggles with it-and the growth of black liberation theology in the United States. Prominent proponents of the latter include James Cone and Rev. Jeremiah Wright.

The arguments of liberation theologians should be challenged on their merits. The source of an argument, after all, doesn't establish its truth or falsity. Still, it's interesting to learn that liberation theology may have been, at least in part, a project of the KGB.

Unfortunately, this isn't just history. Chapman concludes ominously:

"the Theology of Liberation doctrine is one of the most enduring and powerful to emerge from the KGB's headquarters. The doctrine asks the poor and downtrodden to revolt and form a Communist government, not in the name of Marx or Lenin, but in continuing the work of Jesus Christ, a revolutionary who opposed economic and social discrimination.

A friend of mine, a head of Catholic social services in my area and formerly a priest, is a liberation theologian. He has made a number of humanitarian trips to Central America and told me, "liberation theology is alive and well." The same can be said of its sibling in the United States [ie, Black Liberation Theology]."

More on Liberation Theology and the Soviets
Catholic News Agency ^ | 5/15/2015 | Alejandro Bermudez

If the Soviet bloc wasn't the mother of liberation theology, it was certainly a sinister stepmother, enlisting Catholics in a geopolitical cause and inviting them to sell their souls for funding and support.

Only the naive can disregard the mountain of evidence connecting liberation theology with Soviet action in the region.

The fundamental bad thing embraced by Wright was simply the devil. “Liberation theology” was that evil angel’s cloak. So chock full of grudges it never seemed to find a place to “bless your enemy” — to wish it to become something better than it was, even at the cost of not being able to sit and gloat.

Obama, Black Liberation Theology, and Karl Marx
May 28, 2008

Just one nugget from the Sacred Congregation for the Doctrine of the Faith, "Instruction on Certain Aspects of the 'Theology of Liberation': "...it would be illusory and dangerous to ignore the intimate bond which radically unites them (liberation theologies), and to accept elements of the marxist analysis without recognizing its connections with the (Marxist) ideology, or to enter into the practice of the class-struggle and of its marxist interpretation while failing to see the kind of totalitarian society to which this process slowly leads."
--Joseph Cardinal Ratzinger, Prefect, now Pope Benedict XVI; written in 1984

Understanding that black liberation theology is Marxism dressed up to look like Christianity helps explain why there is no conflict between Cone's "Christianity" [i.e. 'reverend Wright's thing] and Farrakhan's "Nation of Islam." They are two prophets in the same philosophical (Marxist) pod, merely using different religions as backdrops for their black-power aims.

They are fighting a war in the streets of America against each other, or they are fighting an unjust war overseas in Afghanistan and Iraq.
