This same poll has Hillary up by five points over Bernie Sanders, with Martin O'Malley in double digits at 10 percent. No other national poll taken over the last month has O'Malley higher than seven percent or Hillary's lead over Sanders lower than 15 points.
But since it's Thanksgiving eve and most of us are already drinking, let's not strain too hard pondering plausibility. Let's just think about President Trump.
Rubio and Cruz both believe that if they can somehow end up as the last man standing against Trump, it's a cinch they'll be the nominee. If you believe these numbers, they're kidding themselves.
Cruz - 43% Trump - 57%
Rubio - 43% Trump - 57%

Funny how you left out the part about him having the HIGHEST Favorable support! LOL!

Nice!!!
Yep!
“The worst possible domestic pitch for maintaining NATO, even in an era of Russian revanchism, is letting it be used as a lever for defending Islamists.”
Sadly, we already crossed that bridge when we started bombing schools and bridges in the former Yugoslavia, all in support of the TERRORISTS (i.e., Muslims).
57 to 43 against a loser like Rubio is a bit tight for me, but I suspect Trump will improve on that, as people get to know Rubio a bit better.
How many people are showing up to see Cruz and Rubio?
Trump has 14,000 in Columbus Monday night. He had over 10,000 in Knoxville the previous Monday night. He also had several thousand in Myrtle Beach last night.
No other candidate comes close to these numbers and no other candidate campaigns as hard as Trump.
The others either spend most of their time fundraising or doing book signings, Carson.
There may be a few democrats at Trump’s appearances but I can assure you the majority are republicans.
I'll mention this, although it's intended to make a different point than what you just said. I believe it is a complimentary point:
I attended a Trump rally about a month ago in MA. About 5000 very enthusiastic Trump supporters showed up for Trump. Such a Liberal state, but MA does have quite a few closet Republicans, and a lot of them came out. I saw a lot of people I knew.
In addition -- and here is the funny part -- there were about two dozen protesters, all in purple (SEIU?) shirts in a pathetic little roped off area, very far from anything interesting. They chanted some stupid stuff while people ignored them. It was ridiculous.
Trump brings out 5000 supporters and is faced with 24 opponents -- in Massachusetts!
It is crazy.
I don’t recall anyone ever bringing out crowds like this in the primaries.
They have in the general but this early in the primaries is astounding.
Trump is getting everyone out. They are excited. And it's very early. Just wait until he starts beating up on Hillary.
I'd look for a pattern across several polls rather than just picking one before claiming victory.
Go Trump!
Go Cruz.
Take your online poll for what it's worth. Maybe, you should cheer harder.
Go Trump!
Go Trump!
Good point.
I am surprised M. Rubio gets 43%. He has done nothing positive, he has had trouble handling his finances, he is in pocket of a couple of billionaires who are not fond of this country, and he doesn’t even qualify for president since his parents were not citizens.
