I am thinking Trump will be good for 4 years. I don’t think he will do 8. Could be wrong. I am in support of a Trump/Cruz ticket. Lord please let it be so.

Were you on “on topic debate”, “Lincoln-Douglas” or Parliamentary? It makes a difference. HRC cannot think on her feet. Cruz would NOT have walked across the stage (despite the fact that he does a LOT of walking when he addresses crowds) and if he had similar response, he would NOT have been left speechless like Lazio. HRC also has not improved her technique in the last 16 years.

Claiming he is “EXACTLY” like Lazio tell me you are not that familiar with Sen. Cruz.

Our debate team did both kinds.

Psssssssssssssssssssssst....I was all for Cruz from the time he was running for his Senate seat and also for him until Trump came on the scene. Then I was all for him to be Trump's VEEP, but he is losing me quite swiftly as of late. So throw away your crystal ball, or whatever you are using, because I most assuredly DO know all about Ted.

Re the Lazio V. Hillary.............

Yes, Cruz can think on his feet, is a great debater, but Hillary doesn't EVER play by the rules, doesn't really "debate", and isn't used to her tactics. You aren't looking at the whole picture.

Hillary doesn't EVER play by the rules, doesn't really "debate", and isn't used to her tactics.

That kind populates the Senate, and some of them bend or break the rules as much as Hillary. Sen. Cruz can deal with that animal. Again, the HRC we saw in debate in 2000 is not the same one we will see in 2016. Much as I idolized President Reagan in my boyhood, I saw a dropoff in his sharpness between 1976 and 1980. It was worse in 1984 (the infamous first debate with Mondale).

I believe that Cruz would be the better president, and that either Cruz or Trump can beat HRC. Trump is a realigning force, and that is a good thing. And my stateing that Cruz can EASILY take on HRC is not to be taken to believe that Trump cannot. We need a movement that can outlast Trump, which includes a coherent set of philosophical set of underpinnings that Trump is not wired for.). And he has not earned my trust on the things most important to me (pro-life, marriage, etc.) As things stand right now, he has earned a right to be heard, a right to run for the seat without backroom negotiations as if he were the Negro in the Country Club (fairness). So far he has been making the right friends and the right enemies, and you have not seen this Cruz supporter attack him. I see him as an insurance policy to keep those northeast votes out of Establishment hands. He will win BIG in New England, New York and PA in the primaries, and will be competitive their in the General.

I don't disagree with a great deal of your post; however, the sticking point is when you started in re the Senate. Cruz has not done at all well in the Senate, he doesn't "play well with others"...as the saying goes. Of course a lot of that is their fault, but that's a teensy quibble AFAIC.

Unlike Trump, Cruz just doesn't and isn't going to be the nominee who can bring in the disaffected Dems, Indies, nor blacks. And that's a BIG problem, re Ted, considering all of the voting fraud that's always out there on the Dem side!

No, Hillary isn't the Hillary of 2,000, but that isn't my point and that actually makes this all even scarier.

My last optometrist was a Jewish communist. Weird. It never does make any sense.
