Donald Trump's campaign says he'll pick up the endorsement of a coalition of 100 African-American pastors and evangelical leaders Monday in New York City.
The real estate mogul and Republican presidential front-runner's campaign announced the endorsement -- which it said will come after a private meeting at Trump Tower -- on Wednesday.
Trump's campaign scheduled an endorsement event for 1 p.m. ET. It has not released the names of the religious leaders who are set to endorse Trump.
The endorsements would come a little more than a week after Trump stirred racial controversies.
He cheered a crowd's physical ejection of a Black Lives Matter protester from an event in Birmingham, Alabama, saying the man might have deserved to be "roughed up."

Blacks should like Trump because of his stance on immigration. Importing third world people increases unemployment among blacks and takes away from social services they use. Same goes for whites.
He could take it if on election night he already has 270 EV’s clinched by like 9pm or 10 pm EST. The libbies in CA would then just not GOTV, or go riot in the streets.

He is not considered a republican by blacks and many hispanics with a brain.
He is the apprentice host, the real estate mogul, that guy in the news who is really successful and could make America successful with great paying jobs.
Even hispanics have to think after a while to hell with the illegals, i have kids to feed.
But if you support Trump, do you lose your black card?
I’m from California and still go there quite often. I think he would have a hard time winning the liberal enclaves, SF and LA, as socialism is entrenched there.
They just don’t tell anybody. When I lived there, the black woman in the office next to mine voted for Bush but swore me to secrecy about it.
I hope the ATLAH minister is one of them, he’s a hoot! He also has no use for the long-legged Mack Daddy.

Totally. I get that. Being an out of the closet Jewish conservative, I’ve had people sidle up to me at events, admitting they were voting for the guy with the R by his name - but they won’t say it publicly.
I don’t know if he’s one of the group, Rev. James David Manning is very pro-Trump.
Trump’s position on the black BLM protestor shows he’s not going to submit to the race baiters. It’s just not going to happen.
I guarantee the Black Pastors and Ministers are of the same view.
