In a move dubbed "surreal" by a leading UN watchdog, and as a campaign of daily Palestinian terrorist attacks continues to target Israelis, the United Nations General Assembly on Tuesday adopted six resolutions - all of which bar none condemned Israel.
Not a single mention was made of the Palestinian attacks, which have left 22 Israelis dead and hundreds wounded, nor did any other countries - even serial human rights violators such as Saudi Arabia, Iran, Russia and others - receive any of the General Assembly's attention. More disturbingly still, five of the the UNGA resolutions were sponsored by the Palestinian Authority, while the sixth was sponsored by none other than Bashar al-Assad's regime in Syria. [...]

I thought Netanyahu was okay with Assad staying as the lesser of two evils. Why should Israel turn over Golan Heights to Syria? Who has less room to talk than Syria? Well, maybe the Palestinians, at least in relation to Israel.

How do you account for the fact that the United Nations Charter follows the format of the Russian (USSR) Constitution of 1936 rather than the format of the (Covenant of the) League of Nations? What about the rebels? Wouldn’t they probably make the same demand if given the chance? Truth is, Muslims don’t think Israel has a right to exist, be it in its parts or its whole. So what is best for Syria right now? I can’t think it is better to let it be taken over by the Islamic State or some mirror image rebel group.
Or why don’t the other Muslim countries take them in?
The Ba’athists are Nazis, due to their combination of Arab nationalism with Arab socialism. Frankly, the only solution is expansion of Israel in the region and punishment of any form of Islam, but we have had Israel’s enemies in charge in DC and Westminster for too long so there is no will or desire to do that in the capitals of the world’s former defenders of freedom.
Is it weird for Syria to assert such a demand when Assad is only barely hanging on to power and you would think should be totally occupied with retaining the territory currently claimed by Syria? I know you said they have always demanded it, but still. You would think he had other things to focus on.

The population of France is roughly 10 times the Jewish population of Israel.
So, the “moral equivalent” of 220 Israeli Jews were murdered during the same time period that 130 Parisians were murdered.
But, for some unknown reason, I'm supposed to feel shock at the Paris murders, and I'm supposed to blame Israel for Jewish murders?
By the way - anyone know how many innocent Syrian civilians have been murdered by French Prime Minister Hollande after he ordered disproportionate reprisal bombing of ISIS-held cities?
One more thing - I was recently shocked to read that Israeli citizens are severely restricted in carrying guns for self-defense.
