Thanks much. I'll use references dropped in out of nowhere as good points to start on some study path.
Lukewarm Laodiceans, meaning "justice of the people". Or could mean vengeance of the people. The idea appears to be that these people, being lukewarm, nonetheless come into some agreement together in order to judge.
Ahhh, consensus. Anything for consensus. Consensus means compromise which is lukewarm. A fence-straddling position that avoids truth and thus avoids true justice. Consensus agreement for the sake of agreement is the new "truth".
Works with the context. Reminds me of the Emperor's New Clothes. Hey as long as everyone agrees that he's wearing beautiful apparel, he's not naked.
Revelation 3:20 Behold, I* stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I* will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me.
* The faithful and true witness, v. 14.
Matthew 18:1 At the same time came the disciples unto Jesus, saying, Who is the greatest in the kingdom of heaven?
Matthew 18:2 And Jesus called a little child unto him, and set him in the midst of them,
Matthew 18:3 And said, Verily I say unto you, Except ye be converted, and become as little children, ye shall not enter into the kingdom of heaven.
>>>"The Emperor's New Clothes" (Danish: Kejserens nye Klæder) is a short tale by Hans Christian Andersen about two weavers who promise an emperor a new suit of clothes that is invisible to those who are unfit for their positions, stupid, or incompetent. When the Emperor parades before his subjects in his new clothes, no one dares to say that he doesn't see any suit of clothes until a child cries out, "But he isn't wearing anything at all!" <<<

And here we are.. the "adults" don't want to know that the Religion of Peace is a killing machine. May all the Jews clue in and enter in to safety.
Christians need to clue in as well. Big time. The religion of pieces wants us subjugated and/or dead.
Interesting interpretation. We do compromise on truth too much. Especially when those truths are “politically incorrect.”
