Any Freepers remember the series on D.C. TV back in the 80's and 90's, "City Under Siege?" It was a local crime news daily 1/2 show on thuggery in our nation's capitol. Unfortunately it only covered street thugs, not elected and other government criminals.

The incident comes after a group of merchants in Georgetown ended its use of a private messaging service that many retailers, residents and police officers had used to talk about people they thought were suspicious. There were concerns that the service was being used to racially profile people.Terminal stupidity.

About a year ago a 20 something year old guy got his ass kicked and was robbed by yoots as he strolled down the street in G-town. He said that “he understood, as they don’t have the things he has”. Wonder if this store’s attitude is the same?

If certain groups don’t want to get talked about, er, “blackly” then they might try to look for, or at least welcome, a better point of view for their lives? And inasmuch as it might still make sense, shame on them for their part in casting shadows of suspicion upon those who look alike. Nature might not be able to help it (the Monarch and Viceroy butterflies, one of which tastes terrible to birds therefore causes the other to be left alone too) — but people CAN help it.

At least they didn’t break windows and burn the place before they looted it. Look for this activity to grow in popularity.
