Exactly.
If they had a father that taught them right from wrong, that right and wrong are not simply relative terms, and that there are certain fundamental things that will always be right.
That women are not objects of exploitation and abuse, but can make you more than you ever could be by yourself and are worthy of respect, so should be treated as equals, and yes, protected.
So the point the author makes is somewhat correct, in that these values, this moral compass, is left to the State and Culture to install in these males. And we know how well the State and Culture will do that.
Murder verses violent rape and their punishments. Yeah, I can see the problem with having someone going for the kill if they know the end will be the same. So, how about this, quick death verses long agonizing death for murder. Works for me.
Fortunately I don’t live in an area where this type behavior seems to be the norm so perhaps I am not the best source here. Maybe we should take a poll from those who live in such areas and see what they say, just a thought.
I know this, just before my dad died, he told me I was the man of the house and if anyone harmed any of the women there, it was my responsibility to take out who did it. He was a cop and said bluntly, don’t count on the police and the courts to make a correct outcome. I had seen him in action one time when someone cursed at his mother with my dad not in view. The guy woke up bleeding on the curb.
Good question, one that should be investigated. If they are here illegally, I wonder if that would be reported?

Just a point about stopping short of capital punishment in order to deter the killing of rape victims:

If you commit a non-capital crime that’s already going to earn you life in prison, there’s no reason not to shoot witnesses or a cop in an attempt to escape or conceal the crime. It’s not going to make your sentence any worse from a practical perspective.

Young Hispanics (anchor category) gravitate toward the gang lifestyle...not all, but a large percentage do. This is LEARNED behavior. Hispanic gangs are the homegrown terror-ist and our gubbamint is hiding/skewing the crime statistics.

Folks, there are large swaths of the city of Houston you would not recognize as America. Everything in Spanish, flying Messy-can flags, everything looks exactly as you would see it at the border in Laredo or Matamores. Gangs control the streets. We may believe the cops have everything under control...but this is a false perception.
Drugs, rapes, robberies, murders, assaults, burglaries...you name it. If illegals and gangs filled with illegals/male anchor babies were not here, our crime rate here in Houston would take a significant nose dive.

Yeah you are correct about the non capital crime states, and there are quite a few of them now too. Interestingly, where there is a potential death sentence for a federal crime, if the crime happened in a non death state, it cannot be imposed either. IMO, all the more reason to take them out yourself if you get the chance and are pretty sure you won’t get caught.
Sex and power? Sounds like this was written by a social justice warrior, the natural ally of the extreme right.
Nowhere in our culture is rape glorified or sex portrayed as a power play for men.
The same as if a dozen or so large i-slam inspired mass casualty attacks took place. The enablers/suppliers/supporters need to be removed from positions of power first. Then open season on the jihadis in question can move forward unabated without interference from their ruling class apologists.
Sadly this is the way it may have to be should our elite “leaders” continue to ignore and openly oppose the wishes of the majority of the American people. With the chaos taking place across the country and the world it seems that now the only question is when it is going to happen instead of if.

Me, I hope it can wait till after the Superbowl or maybe the Stanley Cup Finals so I may distract myself from the horrors our leadership at every level has brought upon us. However, current events are happening at the speed of light and we may not have that luxury.

I believe raping is such a heinous crime that it might be worse than murder, as the victim has been permanently damaged.
As a father, there is no end I would go to if my own daughter was subject to such an event.

Most of the time, I think the perp usually murders his victim anyway. May as well attempt to provide at least a smidgen of deterrent by making it a capital crime. We really don't need these guys to be walking the street again after they've served their time. Didn't the Kitty Genovese murderer get out of jail (not sure, but I think he did)?
