A new survey from the Pew Research Center reveals that a shocking number of Millennials support curbing free speech.

According to their findings, 40 percent of Americans between the ages of 18 and 34 believe the government should be able to ban any speech that is offensive to minority groups.

We have apparently raised a generation of snowflakes so fragile that their psyches can’t handle offensive words or photographs or images.

It seems the only free speech this perpetually offended generation supports is speech they agree with.

This could get extremely ugly. If the Constitution is not “the supreme law of the land”, then mob rule can do anything. Mob rule will lead to something terrible, whether it is a big government national socialist tyranny on what liberals call “the right” or a big government soviet socialist tyranny on what liberals fawningly call “the compassionate and progressive left”. Either way, our remaining freedom could fall to the big government socialists, and the differences among flavors of socialism are trivial to its victims.

Liberals will be the biggest losers either way, but even decent Americans will be big losers. I pray that God will help us, and that we will be able to bring our children back to the path of freedom before it gets even uglier than it has been under Obama’s thugocracy.
