“Wilson, a Virginia-born Democrat, is mostly remembered as a progressive, internationalist statesman,...”
Wow, amazing they printed those words in the NY Times.
I guess we have to give the BLM group “stopped clock” credit for being right about something. Woodrow Wilson was a pig.

Wilson was a eugenics enthusiast. By denying Blacks all but the most menial jobs, it was hoped that the race would decline and eventually die off along with Indians and Chinamen.

By today’s crazy standards I’d guess Abe Lincoln would be considered a racist

Next up, George Washington, and the movement to remove “Washington” from “Washington D.C.”

The British drove all four of my grandparents out of Ireland by means of a deliberate, direct policy of forced starvation...a policy which *killed* several of my great-grandparents.
In spite of this barbaric cruelty (of about 140 years ago) I understand several things.1) British people of *today* cannot...and *must* not...be blamed for that policy.2) I am far happier...and far *luckier*...to have been born in the US rather than Ireland.
So I'd say to the author of this piece...GET OVER IT!

Second worst president in American history, after Lincoln. We are still living with the mess he helped create at Versailles.
And wasn't it Wilson who resegregated the US Army?

I loathe Woodrow Wilson.
But what I loathe far more is the Mao-style erasure of American history and heritage by these self-righteous modern-day snowflakes and pajama-boys.

I demand that ALL students WHITE and BLACK and ASIAN and HISPANIC immediately withdraw from Princeton and every other college as they are all guilty of racism , bigotry, prejudice, homophobiaa, heterophobia and LGATXYZ.
There that solves our college problem as well as student demands for free tuition.

Fill in that blank with absolutely anyone, and I'm sure you'd get many vocal lefties to support it. Because that's what lefties do. They see racism everywhere, and will accept no reasoning to the contrary.
And even other lefties are not immune. As the old saying goes, the Revolution eats its children.

Wilson was a eugenics enthusiast.
Wilson, Teddy Roosevelt and Margaret Sanger were all in agreement on that point.

These idiots need to quit worrying about what happened yesterday, and so long ago, and start worrying about what is going to happen tomorrow.
You can’t change the past, but you can influence the future.

Well, at least one good thing comes out of this Black Lives Matter lunacy. The Dems are finally, at least in some small way, being forced to face their racist past. All their heroes are racist KKK sympathizers. The Dems were, are and always have been the Party of Race.
