Steve Deace, Iowa radio host and conservative wonk, put out a Twitter firestorm saying the ad would only help Cruz. He said Rubio is ignorant of the Iowa base, who are largely for the Constitution over big government surveillance. He said Rubio’s people must be clueless of the Iowa electorate to put out this ad.
