Trump camp warns GOP on super PAC attacks (Liz Mair and Trump Card LLC)

The super PACs going after Donald Trump are making a "bad, bad decision," the candidate's special counsel and adviser warned Tuesday morning, saying that if the reports are true, "it changes everything."

"Donald Trump wants to be treated fairly. He will demand that the GOP treat them fairly," Michael Cohen told CNN's Chris Cuomo on "New Day." If the party does treat him fairly, Trump "will honor the pledge because he’s an honorable guy," he said.

But, "if they break that agreement with him, as they say, woe be on them," Cohen cautioned, referring to the loyalty agreement Trump signed, along with 16 other candidates in early September, in which the candidates agreed to support the eventual GOP nominee and not mount a third-party bid.

The warnings from Trump and one of his closest advisers follow a report by The Wall Street Journal last Friday detailing the ramped-up super PAC efforts that are increasingly training their targets on Trump, including a "guerrilla campaign" supported by secret donors from GOP operative Liz Mair, the former online communications director of the Republican National Committee, named Trump Card LLC.

The problem now is if he ran third party, the Establishment would be perfectly happy with Hillary presidency. Especially if the nominee is Cruz.

This is about saving their power in the GOP, they don’t care about the Presidency. It’s about defeating Conservatives

It’s funny. Trump is suggesting he has yet another gear to find in this campaign. “Who wants to go in the barrel next?”

This is so surreal. Have we ever had a situation where the party establishment has gone after their own front-runner?

This is insane.

Insane indeed. This is our last and only chance to take the Party back. I have made it clear that for any number of reasons I am NO fan of Trump. However, the big picture is to dislodge the GOP from the GOPe and this is the only way to do it.

This is our last shot.

Sure we have, unfortunately it’s not even uncommon any more. Ronald Reagan is the last one I can think of.

Politico is trying to divide conservatives.

Trump is going to win.

It will be Trump/Cruz 2016

Yes, Ronald Reagan in 1980. They ended up running John Anderson on a third party ticket. Still, I don’t remember the GOP at that time actually running negative ads against Reagan.

Any of you GOP Washington establishment lurkers, tell your bosses to beware. They certainly hate Trump and Cruz but if your fingerprints are anywhere on their sinking in the polls, your organization will fail to receive my support.

And I am not alone.

Less than 365 days to go before the election. This is fascinating. We see our enemies coming out of the woodwork.

(thanks for your twitter metric)

The enemy within! The Establishment is no longer in control of the candidates. They want another sack of guts to run and get beat by the Demoncrats. It is all about staying in charge of the Party, which is a on the verge of collapse!

It does give us the benefit of seeing who our real enemies are if nothing else. Unfortunately it appears the electorate's collective memory is short, and their wills are weak. Otherwise why would Reince Priebus still be chairman of the Republican party? Why would we allow the same debate structures and democrat operatives being moderators? These are just two glaring examples.

I was in a large corporation that was sold to foreign interests. The management that slowly destroyed the company from within, eventually laying off most of the American workers to sell the company off piece by piece, remind me a lot of the GOPe. They don't care about us, the rank and file, they don't care about America, all they care about is their positions of power. They are our enemies. We need to name them, and remove them from the party. Let the democrats house all of the traitors, it's seems to be their specialty.
